“Best place I've been to in Scranton!! The price is definitely worth it!!! They serve you A LOT! So just have that in mind. It'd be best if you have someone to share. The chilaquiles ARE spicy so beware. But man, they are good! The chicken and meat are absolutely perfect. Other places give you old meat where you can taste it has been sitting for a while. Not Yankee Taqueria. The eggs were fried to perfection. The muffin and bagel were toasted so beautifully. I'll try their technique when I get home. The Cecina in the platter was very juicy and tender. Rice was very fluffy. The burrito, I could barely finish half. IT IS STUFFED!! But as it is fat, it's delightful. Again, their meat tastes very good and fresh. I wish I had known of this place before. I'd definitely visit this place evert time I come to Scranton! The service and food is unbeatable. The owner and his family are very friendly and welcoming. You HAVE to try this place!!“
“This place is just awesome. Everyone at my table loved their food and so did I. We're from out of town and so happy we found this place. The server, Richard, was really wonderful as well.Vegetarian options: The one person who had a vegetarian option was absolutely ecstatic about their meal“
“I was feeling sick and I asked if they can make a soup for me and they was very kind and made it for me with love and dedication. The chicken soup was delicious served with a rice side and tostones (fried plantains).I am very grateful and I really enjoyed it!“
“Italos is my absolute favorite restaurant hands down. The staff is very friendly and courteous. The service is outstanding even with a packed restaurant. I was there today for my birthday and while they were packed to the brim, they still managed to provide excellent service and the food was absolutely incredible. They sang me Happy Birthday and let me wear the awesome Sombrero. I can’t recommend them enough!“
“Today was my 1st time ordering lunch from this establishment. I ordered on line with ease and went to pick up my order. The restaurant was clean and very colorful. I was greeted by a server with a smile on her face asking if I needed assistance. I ordered the guacamole and chips and the Tacos De Birria. The portions are very large so plan on having left overs. The guacamole and chips were excellent. The Tacos De Birria were the best tacos I have ever eaten. Co-workers frequent this place and they recommended it highly. I also checked reviews on line and many recommended this taco. They weren't wrong. It was absolutely delicious. Quite unusual with the dipping broth, but so tasty. The meat was very tender. I highly recommend this restaurant to others if you have not been there. I plan to frequent this place whenever possible. Hidden gem in Scranton.“
“This place is absolutely ? yummie. We had the carnita street tacos, chicken burrito, and order of bean chalupas. My mom had the Carne asada plate she said rice and beans delish, Carne ok. We will definitely go back when visiting Sister again! My sister will definitely be enjoying it more often now that she has had it.“
“We were planning on coming to this place for a while, as we're new to the area. From the moment we walked in, we felt welcomed. A very humble and friendly establishment. The food was AWESOME and the price more than affordable! My wife lived in Seattle and she said that it brought her memories of it, thanks to the flavor and quality of the food and the customer service we received. Absolutely, we will be back!!!Parking: Must find a parking spot on the street and be willing to walk a short distance.“
“I got nachos earlier, and they were outstanding. Just reheated the leftovers. Somehow, they taste better the second time.... Enough that I felt the need to come on here and leave a review. Also I gotta say your refresca selection is amazing. I got so excited when I saw they had Mundet.“
“Cute little spot in Scranton with a drive thru. I opted to come in for lunch on my way into town and I'm glad I did! The soft tacos (with hand made flour tortillas) are STUFFED and quite the deal for $2.99 each. I ate one and was pretty much full! The rice and beans are exactly what they need to be. Very enjoyable!“
“I looked up a place to eat, because I really wanted some fish tacos and found this place! My server, Noelle was very kind and her customer service was great! I came late Thursday night, and the service was fast as well as the food being delicious!“
“Authentic Mexican food at its core. There are two sides to this place, grocery and diner experience. First of, the selection for my favorite Mexican delights are usually stocked here including my new born passion for blue corn tortillas which I find have a greater nutrition quality than the norm. On to the diner/take out experience. I ordered take out once while one of my besties came to visit. The food was great. However, I’m more of a dine in person. Let me tell you, you will not be disappointed. The staff here is always courteous and helpful. Cristian, Alma, and everyone else invite you into their family. The food is hot which I personally love and more importantly it is right down knock the socks of your feet ? delicious ? ? I got ribs in green sauce with a side of rice and beans, corn tortillas. The ribs were melting off of the bone. ? The fresh melon water I ordered was also just as delightful. Thank you for receiving me with open arms. It was a humbling and great community experience for me. ???“
“I was delighted to discover a spot where I could satisfy my craving for authentic Mexican cuisine. The tacos were absolutely superb! The staff was incredibly friendly, and as an added bonus, they offer fresh tortillas to take home by the pound. I'll definitely be returning whenever I find myself in Scranton again.“
