“Always loved coming here to buy candy and the home-made Italian hoagies.I would come here as soon as school let out which was convenient since the school is right next door.Ive moved away but still make it my mission to stop when I'm in Scranton. I will always cherish the memories and conversations I've had with Nicky and my old lunch lady who worked there ❤️?“
“A small divy hoagie and pizza place off the beaten path in Scranton's South Side turned out to be an absolute treasure! I was researching where to find the best cheesesteak in the Wyoming Valley and this place did not disappoint! Generous amount of flavorful meat on their 2 foot large cheesesteak for a little over $18... Sign me up any day of the week!“
“I'm new to the area and this is one of the first places I went to get lunch and gotta say from day one the employee's there were nothing but professional and good people...the manager recently had a baby...CONGRATS TO HER & HER FAMILY...I had catering done from there and it was always a hit...never had any issues ordering picking up or getting help..the manager ( and I'm sorry I keep forgetting her name but she remembered mine) she help me & succeeded on making a sandwich for a vegan...SHE ROCKED IT... I don't go in everyday but when I do it's always a pleasure“

“You have to understand the nature of this establishment. Its been family run for quite a while.Im not from here, but I've lived a few blocks away, for about 7yrs.This awesome hoagie shop has been around for well over a decade. And, its super close to a nice college, in a great area of Dunmore/Scranton.They are "authentic" NEPA hoagie makers and "mom and pop" business.Im a HUGE fan of Jersey Mikes, but you get equivalent quality of hoagie here! You do get a smaller size, than say, a hoagie at Jersey Mikes, but you will be satisfied with the quantity and quality, especially for their price! Its a very small place. If I were to categorize it, I would say it's a deli/convenient "neighborhood" shop (with 90's Clinton nostalgia).Sure, you have to pay in cash, as well as wait a little if you show up, out of the blue....but if you are in the area and need a great hoagie, this is definitely the place to go.You will 100% be better off calling about 20min before expecting your hoagie and giving them a detailed order.I nearly always get a roast beef and chess hoagie, but their steak and cheese hoagies are awesome as well!“
