“One of the best breweries around. There are lots of them and we have tried nearly all. Excellent variety. None of the saccharine “flavored” beer. Real actual beer! A top notch pils, a classic saison, IPAs, darks, etc — a solid range without being overwhelming. One thing we also love is you can bring your own food in. There are a variety of table types in a large open space and there’s lots of outdoor seating in warmer weather. They have some nice events like the beer & cheese event w Grand Fromage.”

“Once again we enjoyed a family dinner at this small warm ristorante. Service was attentive and pleasant as always. Food - always special to have that region of Italy's food showcased. Fra Diablo seafood was wonderful as were the other entrees. If you give this venue less than a 4.5 rating you should consider staying at the 'pizzeria' level for your Italian food. Being a BYOB is an added advantage as well.”
“My wife and I enjoyed lunch here. She had a grilled reuben with a side salad with house balsamic vinaigrette dressing. The pastrami used in the reuben is purported to be home made. The pastrami was great but smelled smokier than it tasted. There was a generous serving on the sandwich. The salad and dressing was good too. We recommend this item.I had the fish tacos and can only award them a C+ . They were fine but not full of flavor. They consisted of three soft taco shells, each with a strip of deep fried fish and topped with a sweet Cole slaw like you might eat with BBQ. Mostly I tasted the slaw. Personally, I like a cilantro/jalapeno based slaw with this dish and I like the fish, if fried, to be seasoned and coated with Panko for crunchiness. I couldn't taste any seasoning on the fish. Nothing wrong with the preparation and the portion was quite adequate, just not worth more than a C+. I chose homemade bleu cheese dressing for my side salad. The dressing had plenty of flavor and I really enjoyed it.I had and Irish ale and my wife had a glass of wine. That's why our bill was over $50. It would have been around $34 otherwise.The Dog has a nice, old time atmosphere than made us both feel very comfortable. It's a good place for lunch.Dietary restrictions: Some GF dishes although they make it clear on the menu they are fried in the same fryer were flour-coated foods are fried. So . . .I did see one "modified vegan" dish, what ever that means.”

I had the pappardelle which was great too, although it is so heavy. I might suggest reducing the amount of burrata and adding some vegetable to balance out the dish. “We have been to Melting Pot in KOP dozens of times and never once had a negative experience. This past Saturday was no different.Eddie was our waiter and was awesome. We ordered the 4 Course experience with the Spinach & Artichoke cheese dip and we added the Wisconsin cheddar, and with that ,we got a plentiful platter of pretzel bread, pumpernickle bread, apples, grapes , tortilla chips, broccoli, carrots & cauliflower for dipping. It's tough to have any self control with knowing you still have 3 more courses to go! We had the house salad with the house dressing (which is a honey mustard vinegarette) and the lettuce is always crispy with the freshest tomatoes , cheddar cheese, crispy croutons & sliced egg) . I could literally drink the dressing, it is so good! (lol). Then came the main course and I had the "Create Your Own" with Teriyaki Steak, Duck & Chicken and we cooked it in a Court Biullion which was very savory. During all of the courses, Eddie was always on point, making sure our drinks were full, we had enough dippers and he made some wonderful recommendations with the sauces as well as the chocolate for dessert. (we got the affectionately called "Fat Boy special" which was the Fluffernutter - chocolate , marshmallow & peanut butter) and oh my goodness, we enjoyed every last drop!!All of the portions for all 4 courses were abundant and you will never leave hungry!Eddie truly made the evening so wonderful. He is one of the most exceptional and attentive waiters we've had and really seems to enjoy what he does.”

“We were in town for a visit with family and this was my SIL pick for dinner for her birthday. It did not disappoint with great cozy atmosphere and wonderful food. We ordered the French Onion soup, Giant Bavarian Pretzel, Meatballs, New Orleans Pasta, and Braised Short Rib Special and a cannoli togo. The French Onion soup was wonderful..Giant pretzel shared by all was great. The crostinis that came with the Meatballs were so hard and dry they were like dust..so some improvement needed there. The braised short rib special was excellent, the only thing I could hope for was a little more of the sauce over top of the potatoes!!! I also got a cannoli togo and I should have got two!!! It was amazing and I didn't even think I got a picture of it. We will defiantly be back to try some more food. It was very busy but everything was timely and hot.”

We normally get the hotpot option (my fav is the healthy herbs) I love the conveyor belt system they have for the veggies, and it's sooo nice ti be able to go up and pick what you want and how much you want from the buffet style they have their ingredients as. This definitely is a great place to go to with friends/family, just remember that it's a 2 hour dining limit (which is standard with hotpot places) and there will be a surcharge for any uneaten food.
