“Their ice cream has always been great. It was better at the old location, they moved many years ago. I actually like Hershey ice cream better. You have to pay to park. The pimento spread is a favorite. I haven't been there since they started charging to park. Parking garage guy was a real ahole to me when I didn't have a ticket because the machine was out of paper. Meh.”

“I just loved this place when I was in Illinois living there for work. I have never seen one in Pittsburgh or the surrounding area yet. I ran into this place while here on a 2 month vacation and just had to have it. I got the large itilian and my daughter got the club and both were so good. I also recommend the Mac n cheese and sweet tea. I will definitely be visiting again before I leave.”

“Solid hockey arena for a college arena. It is most certainly not the biggest arena but the atmosphere is great. The student section is packed and the games are always sold out. They offer numerous food choices which are pretty solid for the size of the arena.”

“Have been to dozens of different Burger King locations and this is certainly one of the better. Fast and courteous service with the food served quickly and at the proper temperature. One of the newer self serve soda machines with any choice of product possible. Very clean interior and clean restrooms. Convenient parking. Will certainly return when in the area.”

“As a Penn State student I had never had shake smart before. I decided to try it the other day and absolutely loved it! The service was great and the employees were extremely friendly. The staff offered me great recommendations and were dedicated to finding me a shake I would love. I love apple juice so they suggested I order a Fruitopia. It was fantastic and I will definitely be going back for more!!!”

“Food is really good. Favorite place to eat in the hub. The service is kind of weird as the person just says hi and expects you to know what to do which makes it really confusing your first time, it's also really loud in there. The room is decorated pretty cool though.Parking: It is in the hub so you have to park in the hub deck.”

“Best coffee in town. Fresh menu with new specials all the time. Best soft pretzels in Centre County. Best burgers in town. Kindest service around! Restaurant is small but a buzzing, comfortable atmosphere. They have a piano inside and some outdoor tables too. Nothing beats their ingredients & the prices are worth the quality. Bring quarters for parking!”

“Campus Steaks is the best cheesesteak you'll get in the area! The staff are all incredibly friendly and have great recommendations. The chicken cheesesteak was perfect, and I reccomend paying the extra $1 or $2 for the toppings they offer! We will 100% be back many more times.”

“What this restaurant does well, it does particularly well. The carbonara is excellent, and easily their top entrée. The limoncello makes for an excellent dessert. Conversely, other entrées, such as the flounder, are okay but not necessarily the best you'll have. The location's ambience is very inviting, conveying, a sense of intimacy and elegance. The service is very good and attentive. It very much has the feel of a date night destination on a Thursday, Friday or Saturday evening.”

“We were visiting here and I wanted to try something new and this place was perfect. If you love pastries like I do be sure to check this place. The owners are very kind and welcoming.I had the ff:Potato and Mushroom Borek Bites - I’m not a big fan of mushrooms but this one is really good. You can see the mushrooms and taste it but it’s doesn’t have that super mushroomy flavor that I don’t like. It was actually good!Baked Chicken Turnover - This was my fav! I love turnovers and this one is just perfect for me. The chicken was flavorful and they served it perfectly warm (not too hot inside).Baklava - There wasn’t a lot of filling, it was more of dough. I would give this 3.5/5 since I had a really good one somewhere else last night to compare with ?. This is a bigger size though.Coffee- perfect!I would love to try all the food if I could ?Lastly it was a bit chilly inside. I didn’t bring my coat inside thinking it will be warmer. I first sat on the bar stools but got so cold so I moved. It was more of when people open the door but I wish there’s more heat inside.Overall, highly recommended and will surely be back when we visit here again.”

“I honestly am more than impressed at the service I received. I thought it'd be a simple in and out with what I wanted. I got way more than that! Their cheesecake was incredible and the dumplings they provided complementary were honestly the best dumplings I've ever had anywhere. It was so enjoyable and I enjoyed the experience so much I couldn't help but tip 2/3rds my order. I want people to know about this place because it deserves the attraction. “So from the perspective of a Lebanese woman: Life changing Halal truck for Middle Easterners in State college!! I’m from Detroit with family in Dearborn and I haven’t found any food out here that can compare to the amazing dishes I eat back home and make myself. UNTIL NOW! This is the best Halal Truck EVER!! The one on Pugh street is a scammin sham compared to these guys!! They’re tucked in a space on Calder by Cafe Alina and I assure you, you will not regret it. The lamb melts in your mouth, the chicken is so savory, fish is phenomenal, the white sauce is ON POINT, and they make their own homemade hot sauce!! And they’re so nice!! I found this place about a week and a half ago and have been there about seven times since ? Please check them out!!Seriously. Better than penn kabob, penn pide, totally blows pita cabana out the water, and makes the other trucks look like a joke. I know my Arab food ?”

“Great drinks, and that's all there needs to be. Love the matcha, and the fruit tea selections are amazing! Menu is clear and lets you easily make any edits. Have not had the food, but have heard only good things about it. One of the best new tea places in State College, though it can be pricy.”

“Went to Bonfire Old Fashioned BBQ tonight for fish. Wow, what a great experience. Guy directed us in, held the door, welcomed us, seated us and we didn’t have one server, we had several. The guy (I’m guessing owner manager) cheerfully gave us a sample of their chili over creamy Mac n cheese. It’s a specialty of theirs. Superb. Husb had fish dinner and I had fish sandwich. Superb. Multiple people checked on us several times, free drink refills without a wait. We were thanked for coming in and I believe the lady of the place escorted us out an exit they don’t use on regular basis because it was closer to where we parked and flat covered walk for my husband walking with a cane. We wanted dessert but no room; servings are awesome. We’re going back some evening just to have a treat. Clean, warm atmosphere, spacious seating, great food and service as well as appropriate pricing. Highly recommend. Thank you to the entire staff and kudos to the cook(s) for a very delightful dinner hour. We’ll be back. Lots on menu we want to try!!Parking: Plenty of parking both sides of the building.Kid-friendliness: We didn’t have kids along but overheard the welcome that was given to families. “Vibe is a perfect college town coffee shop. The workers are friendly, the atmosphere is ideal, and the coffee is top notch. I've only eaten a blueberry muffin there, but it was great, and I would imagine their other food is quality too. Highly highly recommend to anyone living in or visiting State College/Penn State.Parking: There's free street parking right around the corner on Barnard Street. Free for 2 hours.Kid-friendliness: My 4-year-old sat there with me, no problems.”

They've consistently delivered delicious breakfasts and lunches for over two decades. Whether I'm back in town for a visit or just passing through, it's always my go-to spot. I highly recommend these products especially if you have never tried.Additionally, their Taiwanese pineapple pie is wonderful. As I know, the owner/baker is Taiwanese. As a person who traveled Taiwan twice staying over a month, I can guarantee it is also very authentic. Good for a gift (they give a cute box for it).Very nice staffs.You can reserve whole cake in advance, too.”
