The food (steak, sauteed spinach, potatoes au gratin, shrimp cocktail) was outstanding. The service was also outstanding. The fact that you walk through a casino to get to the restaurant, and the general casino feel of the place, took the experience down a notch. However, if you want a great steak above all else, give this one a try.
My husband was asked if he minded removing his baseball cap after we were seated and placed our order. He replied that , yes, he would mind. There is a personal reason he wears a hat, which we did not find necessary or appropriate to divulge to this establishment. Another manager came a few minutes later and said we could either leave the table and sit at the bar, or leave the premises entirely. My favorite steakhouse in the Pgh area never disappoints. Chef's special bone-in ribeye with grilled shrimp and loaded mashed potatoes. YES, YES, and YES.I recommend a side of the delicious homemade horseradish cream, perfect.The wedge salad pairs well with this entree. Excellent blue cheese dressing.I had leftovers for two days!
