“A most charming stroll down memory lane. Lots of neat look-sees here and old fashioned candies. They do lots of ice cream orders and the ambiance is worth a drive there. The owner is so friendly and even uses the old time rolling ladder to reach those high up treats. If my kids were little, I would definitely inquire about a birthday party there. I found BROADWAY LICORICE ROLLS and was transported back to 1976. Thanks to all the kind workers at Ballyhoo's.”

“The two for Tuesday footlong Texas chili dogs are so darn perfect and delicious from The Toasted Bun to the excellent sauce and the quality dog itself when one should fill the average adults it was so delicious I ate them both and it was not a decision I regret. Geared more towards the takeout rather than eat in but that is an option, if you don't have a lot of time on lunch break it's excellent for grab and go! The price is comparable however the quality and flavor is fantastic it automatically makes the price for such a delicious meal more than worth it. I don't mind paying a little extra for good food even though that is not the case here but it's quite upsetting to pay a pretty penny for a meal and still be hungry afterwards once again not something you have to be concerned about at this place 4.9 Stars I think the only way they could get five is if they were giving the hot dogs away I'm looking forward to try more of the great selection that is on the menu”

“Great place for homemade food. We were a large group and were set up in the back dining area. Nice, quite! Waitress did a great job, and service was excellent.I ordered the pastie which came with a salad. Pastie was nice size. Filled with ground meat. Beware is not like the Polish variety.”

“Happy Hot Doggin' Saturday food crew! Today's show takes me back to a place I went to when I first started food blogging. Now back then I was looking to do a breakfast so I walked in and ordered my breakfast started doing my thing and the lady who was the waitress was pretty rude, I did not feel welcomed in any way so I have not returned until now. Now recently on Facebook I read in some food groups that they have really good chili dogs so I compromised and did a take out review. I spoke to the one employee who sounded like she was having some issues and needed to speak with the cook. Now the cook was very pleasant and welcoming. She asked me if I was familiar with their take out window which I was. She told me to come right over and she would have my order ready. I got three dogs, one mustard and relish and two were chili mustard and onions. Now first thing I noticed is they slice the dogs down the middle which a few other places I have noticed they do this as well. The relish dog was very delicious, the relish had a sweet taste to it. The chili dogs had a good blend of the mustard, onions, and the chili sauce. The sauce was more on the meaty side with not being over spiced but had a great taste to it. The dogs had a good bun to dog ratio and all three were very delicious. I recommend for all of you to try some yourself. Now visit their Facebook Page or give them a call to hear their hours. “Your average Chinese take away joint. Ample parking on the side of the building, in the nearby car wash, and grocery store complex. The food and service are average, which is to say exactly what you want and expect. Something that stood out to me was how sparse the inside of the building is. It is completely devoid of tables or chairs. No eating inside at all. Exceptionally clean throughout the restaurant.Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options.Parking: Ample on the side of the building and nearby businesses.”

“My husband ordered through door dash and we picked it up. There were two gentlemen working at the time. I had approached the register, letting them know I was there to pick up an order to which one of the guys walked over and showed me where they placed the pick up orders. He was great! Got home to eat and the sandwiches looked like it came out of a commercial. They were beautifully made. I wish I had gotten the names of the two guys on shift today. They were absolutely amazing.I love this location because we always have a pleasant experience.”

“Had an amazing experience at Anthony's! My family of 5 came in today on a roadtrip from Florida to Vermont and got a large variety of foods. I got breakfast, but the table also got burgers, pizza, and even wings! Speaking of which, the wings were possibly the best wings my family has ever had, and it's a shame we don't live in the area to have them more often. The pancakes had a homecooked taste to them and the chocolate chips were simply decadent. It's a family owned restaurant, so the food took a bit, but it was well worth the wait. Thank you for an amazing experience, we will definitely be repeat customers next time we are in town. :)”

“We first heard of Chef Von through Next Level Chef. We stopped today as we passed through Scranton. We had the new hangover smash burger which was off the charts. The waitresses and bartenders were attentive and we really felt Welcome. “Authentic Mexican food — SO fresh! The salsa is amazing and there is a big variety of tacos prepared with traditional Mexican ingredients. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I had several questions about some items on the menu I was unfamiliar with- I learned a lot! Portion sizes are very generous -including the $7 Happy Hour Margaritas, which are made with fresh squeezed lime juice. No mixers here! My husband’s comment when we first tasted our food: “they definitely don’t take short cuts here”. This is a great addition to downtown WB - can’t wait to go back!”

“Traveled through the area and got takeout based on the Google reviews, and we were not disappointed. Online ordering was so convenient, pickup was fast and easy, and the staff were very friendly. The chimichangas were absolutely delicious. We got them fried with chicken. We also got the 3 combo with enchiladas and tacos and preferred the chicken enchiladas. Our order came with a ton of chips and delicious salsa. I'm so glad we found this gem ? also so affordable! We will be back!”

“This place is very good! I was told this place was Uruguayan and I was looking for some nice food in the area. I myself am from Uruguay and was curious to see if the meals would taste like authentic Uruguayan food. The quality of the food is pretty good, but I wouldn’t say all of the tapas resemble that Uruguayan flavor (such as the chorizo, which was pretty good, but definitely not Uruguayan flavor-wise). The milanesa, however, was extremely good, and close to what it would taste like in my country. But trust you can’t leave this place without getting dessert- I think the tiramisu could be my last meal on earth, no problem. I had the chance to speak to the chef as well, and she was very sweet! The place is small but cozy, has private parking, the service is great, and the prices are very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!”

“This place is fantastic! Don’t let the small, corner location keep you away. I ordered this 5 hoagie platter for my birthday party and it was a huge hit with my family. This made it so much easier than ordering individual sandwiches for everyone. They slice the roll twice longways, leaving a barrier between the meat and veggies. It’s a brilliant idea that keeps the ingredients nicer longer. We will definitely be going back for more!”
