From the outset, my steps towards Chenoy's were marked by concern, fueled by stubborn prejudices towards West Island gastronomy. Nostalgia. Grew up off Gouin. Used to be a family haunt for us. When we moved from Montreal to Ottawa....it was the last meal we had. 30 years later, my mom, my partner etc...still take the trip for Smoked Meat. Worth it. Never change!
