We had a memorable romantic evening! A smooth meal and remarkable service, accompanied by fresh, delicious and visually appealing dishes. All this took place in a rather intimate atmosphere during one of the restaurant's famous musical evenings where we were able to enjoy the melodious voices of TandEm'. A little diamond that is certainly worth the detour!

It was an absolutely wonderful meal. The ambiance alone is worth it, it’s probably the coziest and chicest place on the mountain. They had their own cocktail creations the Indiana was amazing as was their Duck Duo, so fun and yummy! The service was Extraordinary, everyone worked as a team and we never lacked for attention. Being near a fire place and the wonderful lounge chairs was just the class you want on a night out.

Overall the whole experience was good but at the end after paying the bill our waiter came and in not so many words said that he wasn’t happy with the tip we gave him. He also said that in Quebec the rule is to pay minimum 15% tip … I actually felt pressured to pay him the full 15%. This has left a very sour taste in my mouth and sadly I’ll never recommend it to anyone to come and dine.

Leave it to me to decide to take my wife to Mont-Tremblant for her birthday. There is nothing wrong with that...... Unless it coincides with the 23rd edition of the 24h Tremblant!! Extremely crowded (but raises money for a great cause) Our dinner at the Restaurant La Quintessence was one of the highlights of our trip. Our reservation was for Saturday (December 9th). Mehdi Boutin (Maître d'Hôtel) was gracious enough to secure us a nice table downstairs in the Wine Bar next to the fireplace. Comfortable seating and lovely ambiance got everything off to a good start. Our Waitress / Sommelier (Camille) provided just the right amount of attentiveness and information to make everything as good as it could get. We went with the 7 course tasting menu (along with the wine pairing). It was in the top 5 of all of the various meals I've had thru the years. Camille was great in her ability to answer any questions regarding the food coming our way and the wine that she paired us up with was spot on. I will refrain from describing each course. The menu is available on the website and I'll just say that every single course was the perfect size portion and prepared and presented wonderfully. As we were leaving the restaurant I saw the manager and told him that Camille was a "keeper"!! She really did make a great meal that much better. Bon Appétit

We had reserved the “fondue” dinner. Unfortunately there was no fondue left, what a disappointment. They said they would see what they could do, without even getting back to us. Not even a free drink. This restaurant does not keep its commitments. 3 stars because it was still good, for my part I will be looking for another good restaurant than this one during my next visit to Tremblant.
