“I highly recommend Tula for their delicious plant based gluten free flavorful dishes. The service was friendly and welcoming. I took my sister to Tula’s to celebrate her birthday, we were impressed by all the great tasting dishes. We had the Koshimbir salad which was beautifully displayed! Grandma’s Special coconut curry, Tofu Lasooni Dhaniya, a side of chapati and extra basmati rice, we also had a cup of turmeric latte. We will definitely go back to savor the other rich and flavorful dishes. I high recommend this restaurant.“
“I had a delightful experience at TGG Indian restaurant , known for its authentic Gujarati cuisine. The diverse flavors and aromatic spices in every dish showcased the rich culinary heritage. The attentive service and welcoming ambiance added to the overall enjoyment. A must-visit for those craving an exceptional Gujarati dining experience!"“
“I recently dined at Downtown Dhaba for their delicious Indian paronthas. The variety of flavors was impressive, and the service provided by karan was exceptional. The prices were reasonable, considering the quality of the food and the cozy ambiance. I highly recommend Downtoen Dhaba for anyone craving authentic Indian cuisine.“
“I love the chicken biriyani here. If you aren’t a big eater, no way you can finish it by yourself! First time when I went couple of months ago, I was stunned by the quantity they offered. I would recommend this place if you are a biriyani lover ☺️ of course the biriyani was delicious. I haven’t tried other food here, would review as and when I visit here“
“Curry fish dish the fish was fresh and perfectly spiced. The Aloo Gobi had full heads of cauliflower and good portion, they didn’t add potatoes as fillers but just right amount of potatoes. The naan bread was still hot when delivered large naan, it was fresh and went well in dipping the sauce from the meals. The basmati rice was cooked perfectly, not dry, the spice in the rice was just not over powering. Portions are good, enough for a 2nd meal. I recommend all the dishes and would order again.“
“We had a wonderful dining experience and the highlight of our meal was definitely the Shahi Paneer and Roti . The Shahi Paneer was rich in flavor and the perfect level of spiciness. The Roti, on the other hand, was exceptionally soft and had a fresh-made taste that made it stand out. It was evident that the dough of the Roti was prepared with utmost care and attention to detail. Because of the good experience with two dishes, we ordered Saag Paneer and Paneer Tikka and both were delicious as well. Overall, we were extremely pleased with our meal and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a delicious and satisfying dining experience in Montreal.“
“I have been there at least 6-7 times to date for lunch and dinner. The food is excellent, large portions, AVV, very fair prices, excellent service (very kind and smiling waitress) almost only in English but the menu is bilingual. There is a bit of movement because of the numerous deliveries but it is often everywhere like that now. The Indian music (which I like given the type of restaurant) on the TV often cuts out and starts again... It's not very relaxed when it happens... Although it's not perfect in terms of atmosphere, This restaurant is worth the detour. It's a nice addition to our neighborhood.Parking: Depending on the day and time, this parking lot can be full, especially during the weekdays because of the many businesses, but it is easy to park on the street otherwise.“
“"Lakshana's Chettinad South Indian Restaurant provided exceptional catering service for our event. The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that delighted our guests. The presentation was impeccable, and the staff was professional and attentive throughout the event. I highly recommend their catering services and would give them a 5-star rating without hesitation."“
“The food is super good I can eat there food for one day or maybe even 2 daysThe service was good but but we told them to give us gulab Jamun and give us a other menu option but there food is the best the atmosphere is good just one problem there is not enough of lightBut can see the food but clearlySo do I recommend to go to this place?Yes I do because it not important to have a good service and atmosphere it have to be the food the food have to be tasty so I recommend to go hereParking: The parking is hard to find and sometimes you have to park somewhere else to park because there is lot of people I hope you good luck finding a parking spot“
“Easily the best South Indian food around Ontario-Quebec, especially love their dosa and idly. They would also put a lot of good restaurants in India to shame. I keep coming 250km from ottawa at least once a month with my primary objective to have dinner here, along with takeout for my breakfast for next morning. The only issue is the location and trying to find parking around the restaurant. Takes at least 20 minutes of circling around every time.“
“If you are looking for a genuine family run restaurant to support - this is the one. This family has been cooking up Punjabi Indian food for 2.5 decades and all the best dishes too.Great portions, excellent freshness, superb flavouring, reasonable and competitive prices, excellent caring staff and customer service you’d expect from a family run business.Atmosphere is not a first night date out romantic place, but, the theme really is cozy family and the pricing reflects it. They could invest a lot more money and make it all fancy and jack the prices up by at least 30% but I would suggest I would rather have an excellent meal with great service and reasonable pricing than a fancy place as there are far too many of those places that don’t come close to this restaurants quality and taste.Bottom line this is one of the best Indian restaurant ever. And this was a take out experience!!!!!! You should see how good it is when freshly served !Excellent Nan, Raita, fantastic Lamb Saag, crazy yummy gulab jamun a real treat. Other excellent dishes include butter chicken, numerous rice dishes and too many others to list. Just go and enjoy it is worth your time and your money!!Vegetarian options: Too many to list.Parking: Also free on side streets and off parking hours and worth itKid-friendliness: YesWheelchair accessibility: Yes“
“My experience with Desi Pizza was great. I tried their authentic Tandoori paneer pizza and some newly added side items such as Aloo Tikki burger, Noodles burger and Paneer Tikka Shawarma. Everything was so perfect. Will definitely visit again.“
“Indulging in the consistently superb quality at La Super is always a culinary delight. The overall food experience remains top-notch, with enduring goodness in every bite. However, a noticeable change over time has been a decrease in portion sizes, leaving a slight room for improvement in this aspect.Despite this, my love for their Vada Pav and Masala Dosa remains unwavering. The Vada Pav offers a perfect blend of flavors and textures, while the Masala Dosa continues to be a highlight of their menu. The Pav Bhaji and Dahi Batata Puri are commendable as well, offering a satisfying mix of taste and authenticity.Adding to the repertoire, I recently explored their Masala Tea, and it proved to be a pleasant surprise. The infusion of clove flavor added a unique twist to the traditional masala tea, elevating the overall experience. While I appreciate the consistent excellence in taste, a bit more attention to maintaining the original generous portion sizes would enhance the overall dining satisfaction. La Super remains a go-to spot for its delightful menu, and despite minor adjustments, it continues to captivate with its culinary offerings.“
“Nice Indian restaurant at Côte-des-Neiges.The food tastes good but not amazing and has a good prize. They have a couple of interesting dishes like Dosa. The service is friendly, just a bit slow, and sometimes there was no waiter around in the restaurant for a couple of minutes.Vegetarian options: They have many vegetarian options“
“Satisfied our Dosa carvings successfully at this place. Best sambar that I had in recent times. Chutney was a little watery, but the taste was amazing. We had egg dosa, masala dosa and podi idly, all the dishes are great and the spice on the podi idly is on point. Will definitely visit again when we are back in montreal.“
“Woooooow the NAÏM server played an important role in making this my favorite restaurant. The other members of the team are also excellent. The restaurant owner should be proud of his employees. The reps are more than excellent, warm welcome, fast service, cleanliness“
“While many restaurants and establishments were closed during the holiday season, Mount Everest masala was open for business. I showed up and ordered on the spot. They took a little while preparing the food, which is good, because I like the idea that my food is prepared fresh. Certain individuals were eating in. To my recollection, it was my first time inside the restaurant, and I felt that certain areas were poorly lit. Perhaps that was also the fact that no one was sitting there so they dimmed the lights for a better ambiance who knows. Best to conserve energy if you don’t need to use it right.I brought the food back home and we enjoyed our meal . Thank you very much for being open during the holiday season.“
“Fabulous three table restaurant. Full flavour, authentic cuisine. We wished we could have stayed to eat but we were on the run so we took takeout. The fish pekora were possibly the best I’ve ever eaten. The lamb curry was great. The gobi Manchurian ( crispy cauliflower in yummy sauce) was great too, as was the eggplant curry.I’ll be back!“
“Best place to have kathiwadi food in Montreal. We specially went from Ottawa to this place just to have food. And trust me it is worth the trip. We go here quite often and this is the only place where there is consistency. I would recommend this place to everyone who loves having good food at a very reasonable price.“
“Amazing indian food in Montreal, everything blew past any of my expectations, everything was dleicious, the cocktails were phenomenal, and the deconstructed samosa left everyone speechless, no joke, it was that good. The service was cocktails top-notch, and the atmosphere was perfect. You will not be disappointed. Do yourself a favor and go here.“
“food and service were both AMAZING! the guy was so sweet with us making us try many different things to get a taste of everything before ordering, then ordered the butter chicken tacos and OMG! IT WAS AMAZING!!! must go to this place on a late saturday night!!!“
“Our favorite Indian restaurant in Montreal hands down. Our Valentine's meal was wonderful. Food was delicious as always and the atmosphere is cozy and conversation with fellow diners was inspiring. Staff are warm and always go above and beyond. Highly recommended.“
“We went to Royal India for my older son's Birthday at the end of November 2023 with a party of 18 people. When we arrived, we were greeted courteously and our tables were ready for us. The seating was perfect, the food was excellent and the service was great. If you like Indian food and are looking for a BYOB restaurant in the West Island, you should give Royal India a try. They also host larger parties and the owner can set up buffet style, etc... depending on your needs. We will definitely be going back over the Christmas holidays.Note: Parking is beside the restaurant for 90 minutes. If you will be there longer, you can move your car to a spot in the same parking lot.“
“Very nice restaurant. The atmosphere is excellent and the service was perfect. Everyone there seemed to be having fun. The food is tasty, the portions are good and everything is super fresh. Good quality of products. I find that the prices are a little higher than I expected, but in this economic context, I can easily understand. However, I highly recommend it.“
“Such a calm, open, and pleasant environment. The family who own this restaurant and serve you are so sweet and kind and accommodating. The food is delicious, we had the butter chicken and butter chicken poutine. The mango lassi is delicious too! This kind of food is generally outside my typical palette and comfort zone but I am definitely coming back for more! ?? ?“
“Went yesterday at Bombay express which was really very worth it in terms of service, food, price and the atmosphere is like we are in India, moreover staff is very friendly (Navi) she recommended me butter chicken, paneer tikka masala with garlic naan :::::sooooooooo good..........Thanks to team Bombay Express “
“We have ordered delivery from their website and it came at a reasonable time ?? For the food, we've ordered 3 butter chicken thali and we LOVED the curries that it came with! Everything was flavorful and tasted great However, as I was eating my tandoori chicken, I discovered it was raw near the bone; hence why I deducted 1 star. It's such a shame, I really wanted to give this place a 5 stars!P.S after reading the reviews complaining about the packaging, they don't use your typical rectangle container with dividers in them; they use small individual circle containers. Nonetheless, it still a lot of food, so don't be fooled!“
“I have been going there since I was a child and still until today, it’s the best Indian food I’ve ever had! Super good and authentic, the waiter is sweet and so is the owner, who offered us a speciality on the house. To say it in the words of the Michelin guide; Worth a journey!“
“Good food choices and tastes are authentic and delicious. The gift boxes are super cute and perfect to take to someone's house. The cashier is very helpful and nice. We are very happy this area verdun city of Montreal downtown excellent place to buy “
“Had an amazing time Bawarchi Montreal. The food was Great especially the Butter Chicken though the Veggie food could had been more spicy. Also our server Sakshi was fantastic, she gave great details about each item on the menu and provided us good guidance about what to choose based on the what we were in mood to eat.“
“Great veggie Indian food, the flavors, the sauces. I had a thali and a starter of potato balls which were delicious! We like to have lots of different dishes to taste lots of things and everything was really good, we forget that it doesn’t have meat!Vegetarian options: Everything is veggie!“
“I truly love this place bc the service is wonderful. The owners are doing everything to make us feel welcome. Also, the food is absolutly fantastic...full of good spices so very tasty but not oily! Congratulations! It's my favorite place for the best indian cuisine!“
“Delivery for dinner. Impeccable telephone and delivery service. Great discovery of this Indian restaurant. Starters: Paneer pakora excellent and vegetable pakora mix really good. Dishes: korma navratan not very tasty. On the other hand, the butter chicken and chicken jalfraizi were up to par and succulent. The naan breads are huge and very good. Huge portion of rice 1 for 4 is enough and the raita was good. We recommend“
“"Absolutely incredible experience! The vibrant flavors of the dishes were a delight to the senses. The warm and attentive service made the evening even more enjoyable. The ambiance transported me to India. Every dish was a masterpiece, and I cannot wait to return for another unforgettable meal."“
“This restaurant makes traditional Indian and Pakistani dishes that are ridiculously good. The cook is some sort of culinary genius. It’s like a parade of delicate flavours dancing through your mouth with every bite. I’ve gone a few times in the last couple of months, and my dinner partners have been equally wowed. The waitstaff are lovely too. My favourite dish is the Palak Paneer! I'm happy I found them.“
“We went there at 9:30. They close at 10, they were so friendly didn’t rush us at all.We tried a mix of different dishes for 2 people. Everything was sooooo delicious, but butter chicken was another level!!! I am regretting why I didn’t discover this place earlier! We brought the rest of it home and ate it for the next day lunch. It was giving us the same satisfaction! I cannot wait to go there again and try other dishes! I’m informing all my Indian food lover friends about this Chef’s magic!“
“Just ordered some Indo-Pakistani cuisine that's so authentic, it made my taste buds file for a passport! Lamb Vindaloo, Butter Chicken, Garlic Naan, and a cold Unibroue to wash it down. Warning: the Vindaloo is so spicy, it could negotiate peace treaties. And the portions? Let's just say you'll need backup. Highly recommend if you're into generous servings of deliciousness that'll make you see through dimensions. ?️? #SpiceLife #FoodComaIncoming“
“Man man man, you missing out on life if you did not got to RASOI!! If you free in summer this is the place to get your meals from. The owner was the most incredible soul i met who has the passion for life and food. He treats you like Fam. Top Quality punjabi Indian food is waiting for you. Go get it guys!“
“This place serves the closest to authentic northern Indian restaurant-style (Delhi/Punjabi food in particular) food you can get in Montreal, or perhaps in North America. If you value a perfectly cooked Naan, a little charred on the outside, beautifully soft inside, lathered with garlic/butter/coriander, a little stretchy---this literally may be the only place in North America aside from places in Toronto and the Bay Area where you may be able to find this (although I personally have not). I certainly can vouch for not having the pleasure of eating such good naan in New Jersey, where you'd expect to find some of the most authentic Indian restaurants. The Daal makhani is amazing (although it is not of the Motimahal style; I preferred Lajawaab's!). The shahi paneer and kadhai paneer are absolutely phenomenal. The butter chicken is what any restaurant in Delhi would be proud to serve. Again I go back to the Naan. If you like good naan and have missed it sorely from your time in India, well this place can be your savior.“
“I like food and servicesVegetarian options: I like vegetarian options specifically vegetarian dish and paneer pakoda i like too much and that raytu was delicious which was complementary.Thank you so much for your kind service and amazing food.“
“A little disappointed at the beginning with the policy of $25 minimum order for delivery (that's a lot of food alone) but hey I would have extra for 2 other meals. Food wise ♥️ nothing to complain about, everything was excellent naan bread, mixed cat, tandorie chicken salad and the baji onions were just too succulent!“
“I was here at NYE, visiting this place for the first time and I love it ! The place is cozy with a lot of seating area. They have a great menu! Everything ( street food) you may be missing back in India.I tried butter Dabeli and Sev Puri! I loved it!! The dabeli was so tasty, it was tinge spicy exactly how I like it ( you can ask for more spicy) . They gave it with tamarind chutney and the combination was explosion ! Sev puri was delicious too and had that authentic taste.Definitely gonna be back and try more things! I have heard great things about their masala chai! Maybe next time that is the way to go!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarian!“
“Indian resto bustling with people! Kids had the butter chicken thali which was a good deal. We also tried an indian appetizer (puri pari) with mango lassi. Ordered a tasty mild lamb dish (had to order rice and naan on the side since it is not included in the price), and the sizzling chicken tikka/pork + naan dish. Wasn't able to finish!“
“First of all, it's probably the "all you can eat" type restaurant with the best quality/price ratio in the province, without a doubt. I've had the chance to eat at dozens of Indian restaurants, and this is one of my favorite choices. The service is exceptional, the food is tasty, high quality, and at this price for an "all you can eat", it's a real bargain. You also have the choice between à la carte dishes or thalis. There is a difference in curry choices every day. The desserts, typically Indian, are delicious. It’s truly an experience worth discovering, I highly recommend it.“
“The food was good. I had beef chappal kebabs and maash ki daal with a salad and naans on the side. The spice level was low and just right for my taste while everything seemed very hygienically presented as well. The server was very courteous amd accommodating and the order arrived much quicker than anticipated. It's a small space so it's appropriate for when you're in the mood for a quiet meal. Prices too were on the lower side. I've heard their chicken roast is worth trying so that merits another visit for sure.“
“Great brunch food and vibe. We went there with a group of friends and they accommodated few extra people that showed up as part of our group. The set up was quick and easy. We celebrated our sons birthday and they waitress was very friendly and warming to the occasion. The food and drinks were great. Food was brunch with a slight touch of Indian cusine. Recommended to anyone looking to try this fusion brunch.Kid-friendliness: Seemed kid friendly although there were 2 kids out of 12 of us (3 and 5 year old), although they didn’t have high chairs or boosters. They were the only kids in the resto to think about it but well behaved.“
“Excellent Sri Lankan food. My lamb kothu roti was too salty so ask for less salt. It was boneless and delicious. A single dinner plate of Chicken kothu might be shared between two people. The lamb is a bit smaller in portion. It's at an older building so you will see a mouse trap on the way to the hand wash station.“
“We are regular customers. We come very often in groups of 4-6 and we have always been completely satisfied with the quality of the food, the variety of the menu, the quality of the service as well as the atmosphere. The prices are very reasonable. This is a BYOB restaurant. I recommend everyone around me to go to Amber. Ideally, we reserve in advance since it is always full.“
“I’m not used to Indian cuisine, but this place was recommended to me by a friend and I LOVED it. So much flavour in the different meals I ordered and the staff was friendly. Prices are super reasonable and don’t forget to bring your own wine!Vegetarian options: Dedicated vegetarian section on the menu.“
“Local Bangaldeshi/Indian/Pakistani fusion of dishes. I tend to eat here once every year. Never once did they fail my expectations, the food always tasted great. We know the aunty who works there since we were kids. She’s a very sweet lady. You definitely need to try their butter chicken its very tender & creamy. Affordable price & big portions.“
