“A fun spot to spend a Friday lunch and an early glass of wine.Experience the delight of the buzz from the restaurant and the delicious Chablis.I enjoyed the scallops and a very indulgent Caesar salad.Coffee and a térasse, I’m happy.”
“Very nice experience in general ?! We are well guided in the selection of wine that harmonizes with our dishes. The cuisine is a delight! Very excited to go back!”
“I've eaten here three times so far, and hope to return again! It is also currently my favourite restaurant of all time. The food is delicious, unique, and iconic. I have not had the pleasure of trying the tasting menus, but there are some regular menu items on it that I have loved.A shoutout for the cocktails is needed, and I recommend either the Aleppo Gin Sour or Damascus Blinker. As far as food goes the hummus is remarkable, and the option with the shawarma is a meal on its own. I also recommend the Sour Cherry Kebab and the Samke Harra. The food service is organized around sharing plates, and they run a tight ship replacing platters and utensils. Staff have always been helpful and kind. Not to mention the restaurant itself is gorgeous and has an intimate atmosphere despite its density. Overall, it's worth the price to try at least once. You will probably find yourself wanting to come back!”
“Coffee (both filter and espresso-based drinks) are always tasty and consistent week in and week out - something hard to find among mtl cafes. Wine selection is one of the most impressively curated in town. Vibes and staff are always on point!”
“Dont judge the age of the location. The food is really good. Proportions were large. The staff is very friendly and funny. Great food. Great staff. What more do u need?its original from 1951. Awesome....”
“Super nice experience, the staff is really friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, the service is excellent and the food is incredible. The flavors are present, the dishes are well prepared. While eating I felt nostalgic for my trip to Thailand. I highly recommend this place.”
“We had a lovely lunch, excellent food, excellent service by our very friendly and knowledgeable waiter, Xavier. I will definitely return to this lovely location in Outremont, by the theatre.”
“Excellent food....service and atmosphere...really 5 stars...delicious food from start to finish....toast with tuna raw, a delicacy to the palate...Barcelona chicken really delicious and the texture Perfect, delicious Galicia-style octopus, bravas potatoes, churro...I really wanted to return...I congratulate chef Juan and his wife...for giving us this great and wonderful experience that my husband and I enjoyed. 5/5 in all its aspects...and needless to say the drinks...both the wines and the A1 beer...Highly recommended..”
“Shamefully I forgot to rate this amazing Italian restaurant. Even if you are not vegetarian, you should try Penne All’Arrabbiata. Do you think it’s too simple? Think twice ? Don’t reject the dessert. You should try Affogato. Can’t you find it on the menu? I am not surprised ? It’s not there, but ask them. It’s a combination of two delicious items: Italian coffee espresso and their Vanilla ice cream.”
“Found this place on instagram and my wife and I went for an early dinner and was not disappointed in what we ate. The sushi is so fresh and really well made and so very tasty! Ken welcomed us in and took care of us and we couldn’t be happier! I highly recommend Coba Sushi and will surely be back!!!Thanks for the amazing dinner experience!!”
“Still remains my favorite restaurant on Bernard. While prices went up everywhere, at least you leave here without feeling cheated. Never had anything but the nicest service. And if most of the food choices are rather simple... they are good and I like them.”
“Let's clarify something first: someone published that Roch le Coq had copied Jack le Coq and it's false. After verification, Roch le Coq opened at this location in 2019 while Jack only opened in…2021. Pay attention to your sources on the internet. It's not the nicest place in Montreal but that's part of the restaurant's personality: we do fried chicken, no fuss. For this visit, I took the Rochy at $6.75 (a good indicator of inflation out of control, price increase of +35%?!) which is a small chicken burger, “slider” type. I prefer this one to the Mega Roch. The only downside is that it's small, I had to order a second one to satisfy my appetite. Not the best in Montreal (see my review of Joyo) but an honest chicken burger, better than average with mayo, lettuce and pickles that balances out the fat of the chicken, good for 4 ⭐️.Fast, friendly service, from staff who serve a lot in a week.RecommendedP.S.: if this review was useful and informative to you, please ? leave a ? to support the author, thank you ☺️Parking: Very difficult to find parking, the majority of spaces have been removed by the city on Van Horne.”
“amazing pizza place! Great value for money and the employees are all super nice. For 6$ you can get a huge slice of pepperoni pizza and for 14 an entire pizza. Definitely worth coming in if you’re in the ”
“It’s nice to go to Figaro. It feels like a trip every time. The restaurant hasn't changed in a long time, same chairs, same counter, but that's its charm. Good service, good coffee $$$”
“Love this neighborhood gem - the food is delicious and the chef is creative and works with the best ingredients and the menu changes according to what is in season. The smoked butter that comes with the bread is out of this world !I tend to go early as it tends to get quite loud with the crowd and music.”
