I am devastated by the recent renovations to Sweet Lee's. This cafe had lots of personality with its tin ceiling and vintage aesthetic. Now it is all white and harmless, identical to the other millions of modern cafes. What a loss for the neighborhood.
Having previously been here a few months ago I have to say that there’s certainly been a lot of changes. For one the dining area is a lot more spacious, the staff seems to be more engaged with the clientèle (previously I went and there was a girl more focused on staring at her phone then helping out the customers as well as, a man in his thirties CLEARLY high, glad to see that isnt the case) While some of the decor is questionable the service more than makes up for it, not...read full review

What used to be a charming, unique café has been renovated into a bland, boring space. None of the staff seemed to have a clue, so after milling around in front of the cash, because no one knew where to order or queue, for 10 minutes or so, we left.Their food still looked appetizing.
