It was my first time at Carmella's and, boy, was I in for a treat... Their portions are so generous that I didn't even take the usual bread & olive oil; even though I ate a lot, there were still lefties to bring home. Good pizza and salads that are outrageously expensive. We got a 16” 3 cheese/ basil pizza and it was $27.49. To top it off, they charge the exact same price for a specialty pizza with multiple toppings or 6 meats on it which doesn’t seem to make sense. I should’ve paid more attention to the prices.

This place has amazing pizza for many, many years! I highly recommend the white pizzas such as Buffalo chicken, rosemary chicken, steak bomb etc. they use garlic oil instead of red sauce. The crust is magnificent. It’s worth driving there from far away because there is no good pizza places anywhere near New Bedford-Fall river area. Anytime I get to go here I am very excited and have a hard time deciding what to get and then I am even more excited when I sink my teeth in.
