First time at Ida's. Lovely ambiance. Generous portions. All Fresh and cooked to order. Excellent service. Nothing better than fresh homemade pasta except homemade pasta with delicious sauces and well prepared protein. Truly tender veal. One of the best marsala sauces I've ever had. I ordered chicken gorgonzola. Very rich, but oh so good. Can't wait to go back and try other dishes.
A great Italian restaurant in the Newport area.The restaurant has a very friendly and family vibe going. The menu contains many staples of American Italian dining. The pasta is made freshly each day and you can appreciate the quality.The staff was all very polite, friendly and helpful. While I do not live in the Newport area, it is a place I would recommend to those traveling to this area, and one I hope to return to some day.

I was very impressed with this place, we started with the garlic bread and the server recommended gorgonzola sauce which was fantastic. I had the best eggplant parm I have ever had in my life, the pasta was outstanding. The service was good, the food was fantastic, pricing was reasonable, the restaurant itself was nice. I highly recommend this place. To the owner, manager, and staff keep up the excellent work I look forward to my next visit.
