Food here is too good to be considered traditional British fare. Hehe The owner/staff are friendly and helpful. I used to buy a lot of British candy here but it's gotten a little too expensive. Try them out it's a great change of pace from America fare. I had the Cumberland Sausage sandwich with mashed potatoes and beans yesterday. It was one of the best lunches I’ve had in a long time! Highly recommended, and I’m looking forward to going back and trying more items on the menu.
Visited Kelly's Café in Newport and had a 5-star experience from start to finish! We were warmly welcomed by the owners, who humorously offered us a 'walking tour of London' on screen. Their food recommendations were spot-on. We savored the classic English breakfast with exceptional baked beans, not your usual American fare, and the cowboy meal my wife had was superb.
