My husband and I stopped in Bar 12 to enjoy pre dinner drinks during our recent stay in Newport.Bar 12 is a small and intimate setting. It definitely is best for small groups due to limited seating.The menu is great and offers unique cocktails, in addition to beer and wine, for guests with differing palettes.We had 4 different cocktails and enjoyed all of them equally. Wow! Drinks were amazing, and the hummus was the best we've had. It was "date night" on Thursday, so food was half off. Darwin, our bartender did a great job, handled the entire place solo, with grace, and an upbeat and friendly attitude. So glad we stopped in ❤

Much like the other reviews, I had a fantastic experience with Darwin. The mark of a good bartender is being able to make a great “bartenders choice” drink with your liquor/palate preference. Overall the drinks where great with the service to match. A go-to nightcap in Newport for sure.
