Truly great Chinese food. not the typical "American Chinese food", but proper, authentic Chinese food. Careful with some dishes as such, as they are properly hot, like real Sichuan food is supposed to be.
I think people confuse this restaurant with another one with the same name but different locations. Because when I walked in I was surprised by the ambiance that is bright and spacious. There is no red light like I saw in the reviews. I don't know if the restaurant renovated or the photo is for a different restaurant, my experience was great here. Great crystal shrimp dumplings & soup dumplings. Large menu and offerings including lamb, Hunan dishes, and whole fish. Great to see authentic > Americanised. Glass noodles in chili sauce, pickled vegetables, pea shoots, mapo tofu, and dry green beans were fantastic too. Pleasantly surprised to find decent authentic Chinese food in PVD. Calm place with booths and parking outside.
