“Cute, quaint, and hopefully here to stay forever. You can see pastry chef Sergio working hard on all of the pastries in this bustling shop through a window into his kitchen; making his craft the center of the show. Adriana, the manager, is the sweetest and is always so helpful when deciding what to get. These are some of the best pastries and espresso in the city. One bite and you’ll feel like you’re in Europe. Love the apple tart and citrus tart amongst other things. They have quite a decent amount of gluten free options as well as the best chocolate chip cookie (not gluten free but so delicious). This is how Europeans eat breakfast and lunch. Don’t cheat yourself this experience. When it’s warm they open the front windows adding to the experience. Trust me, you’ll be happy you went.“
“Really fresh, high quality waffles and great service. We love getting the waffle with fruit. It's lightly sweet and has a chewy, slightly crispy texture. They always seem to be out of the Belgian thin waffle which is too bad. They also have nice tea options that pair well with the waffle.“
“What can I say about this place that hasn't already been said. Everything they have is amazing. The go-to for my wife and I have always been the chocolate torte but their chocolate mousse and key lime pie (when its in stock) are also great. Everything's consistent and its location is nice and tucked away behind the craziness of Atwells Ave. A bit on the pricey side but you get what you pay for.“
“An absolute hidden diamond of a coffee shop! Friendly and speedy staff. Absolutely delicious bakery items - try the stuffed everything spice bun & the focaccia. Excellent coffee prepared expertly. The only bummer is that they’re a bit small and there’s not a lot of room for sitting and relaxing or working — best for grabbing your morning coffee and snack and going. I love Little City, they’re my favorite coffee shop in Providence.“
“This is by far the best coffee around the providence area. Beans are roasted daily. You can taste the freshness. All their coffee is full of flavor . The staff are very nice and I always feel welcome even when they are slam packed busy. The only thing they could improve on is the flow of traffic when waiting for your order. It can get very cramped and claustrophobic when they are really busy. A small price to pay for the best coffee you’ll ever have.“
“I LOVE this place!!! I ordered the chicken salad and OMG it was DELICIOUS!!!! I also ordered the blood orange lemonade. It was a little tart was overall it was delicious too! My friend ordered a seasonal maple black tea which she loved. The staff was friendly and the place is cute!!!Parking: Meter parking“
“Seven Stars has quickly become my favorite bakery!! Their iced Carmel latte is to die for!! Probably the best coffees/ lattes I have ever had. They are extremely consistent which I really appreciate. Their baked goods are fabulous too! I recommend the almond croissant ? if you are contemplating going to this bakery or have never been I highly highly recommend! You will not be disappointed!“
“The best neighborhood coffee/sandwich shop I've ever found in my life. If you need a pick-me-up or crave a good sandwich while in Providence, I promise you White Electric is worth it.It also has the perfect blend of caffeinated energy and relaxing ambiance, and the staff all truly act like they actually enjoy their work. I mean that honestly & without a hint of sarcasm. The staff are professional and excel at the art of coffee making but somehow have remained kindhearted, unlike many current barristas (and experts in general, but especially barristas).Rhode Island still struggles in many culinary disciplines, but for anyone visiting this Napolean complex in the form of a colony & state, please know that you will be pleasantly surprised in every imaginable way at White Electric.“
“Read great reviews about this place and gave it a try. I got the hangover sandwich as recommended, and it was delicious. I also got their dirty Chai and that paired well with the sandwich. The staff are friendly as well and gets packed quickly.“
“Very cute diner. I went here with my girlfriend on a mini vacation and we both got different types of their eggs Benedict. The wait staff was a smidge slow. But he apologized for it and made sure to come by, and let us know he was doing his best to come around again. The food was flavourful and their Chai and hot chocolate were as well! The bathroom was very small and dirty. But that was one of the only few downsides.Prices were reasonable and the staff was very friendly.Dietary restrictions: Great for peanut allergy“
“I came here today for the first time with my daughter for her birthday. She wanted a coffee with a picture on top. The lady's were super nice and helpful. They made my daughter a decaf so she didn't have the caffeine. Which was great. They made her feel super special by making sure she had a perfect picture on top for her birthday. I will say we will be going again.“
“In the pink is a wonderful new addition to Providence. The menu has something for everyone. All of the food and products are fresh and delicious. The staff is welcoming, friendly and very knowledgeable. They have something for anytime of day/night or just a quick pick me up snack. Highly recommend if you are in the “
“I was pleasantly surprised at this coffee house, there was a great vibe and atmosphere amongst the workers and the public. I will definitely be coming back if I am in town again. Also, the jalapeño popper breakfast sandwich was delicious as was the cold brew coffee.“
“Aroma Joe's is located on the busy Thayer street. The store is very inviting and spacious. There are so many different drinks and different flavors at Aroma Joe's.There are options for 16 oz, 20 oz, 24 oz, and 32 oz and you can choose hot or iced.I ordered a hot mocha 24 oz with white chocolate flavor. It was tasty. I can't wait to come back and try their other drinks.“
“Food was amazing. I got the avocado toast and macaroons were DELICIOUS! I also got the matcha iced and that was amazing. The customer service is great as well, they will help you out for any inconvenience. I forgot to ask the two ladies working Sunday afternoon their names because they were lovely. They also bring your food to the table, didn’t know that, but I loved it.Atmosphere is beautiful, very aesthetically pleasing. Also, food presentation is fancy!!Overall 10/10!“
“There’s some foods I don’t like to buy because I can make them myself with cookies being one of them but oh my gosh these are the best cookies I’ve ever had! They’re cooked perfectly with the inside of the cookie being soft and gooey and they don’t get rock hard after a day or so. The best cookie was the funfeti and monthly special which was apple cider! The chocolate chip cookie and chocolate peanut butter are also amazing. You really can’t go wrong with any cookie you get“
“We'd been to the hotel location and knew the coffee was excellent, but this was our first time trying the food. The rice bowl, breakfast sandwich and homemade biscuit were exceptional. We ordered the vegetarian versions of everything. We're very picky about espresso - theirs is extracted perfectly and we very much enjoyed a straight espresso, a traditional macchiato and an Americano. Highly recommended.“
“They’re always hosting new and trendy events, which lets college kids go out and have fun doing something that won’t destroy their liver. I love the specialty teas, and I always stop by to check out the seasonal and holiday teas! Not to mention the donuts are so cute and the flavors are really creativeDietary restrictions: You have complete control over sugar levels, add ons, and extra ingredients!“
“I stopped by Mill Coffee last week after reading great reviews on this place. When I pressed the intercom button at the entrance, I realized it's by appointment only visit. Luckily, Susan the owner let me in. Susan's hospitality exceeded expectations. She also showed me around, provided great information, and sent me home with two bags of coffee to try for free. That was incredibly nice of her! This place gets coffee from all over the world and you honestly can't get a more 'from-producer-to-consumer' product than this place, they roast in house!I highly recommend Mills Coffee Roasting.A huge shout-out to Susan for her kindness :)Daniel“
“I ordered a large iced coffee and a piece of walnut banana bread. The BANANA BREAD WAS AMAZING!!!!!! The coffee also was great! A great vibe for some studying or a solo hangout. Also a great spot to meet some friends and catch up. The barista who helped me was absolutely incredible. It was my first time and I didn’t feel rushed or anything, like I do in other coffee shops! The vibe was very laid back. I will gladly shop here instead of Starbucks!“
“My go to place for ice cream in Providence. A range of flavors, from traditional (maple walnut, chocolate, Coffee, ?, vanilla) to nice interpretations of kulfi, almond joy, ... Always look at the specials (far right on the list of flavors) - and they're happy to give you a taste if you're not sure. And of course they do Sundays, etc. Some vegan optionsNo longer serving food (remodeling and a new restaurant will share the space - reopening food service late 2023 or early 2024, construction who knows?). So cannot speak to food.“
“This is a small cafe near to the Rhode Island School of Design. There is a nice variety of sandwiches and a selection of pastries and salads. Many coffee beverages were on offer as well. Reasonably priced it has soft cushioned benches and wooden tables and chairs. This was the perfect place to refuel before tackling the RISD museum. I particularly liked the friendly staff.“
“I thought it was a very friendly and joyful place. Great goodies to eat and the coffee is out of this world! It’s an “any-time” stop by place! Enjoy.Wheelchair accessibility: Ground level to enter in and great little outdoor section too.“
“First I should say this is more of a food place than a coffeeshop, at least the branch located at Dean Hotel, which is the subject of this review. We ordered breakfast food here, Deviled Eggs and Stewed Beans, you can check the photos and spot their actual photos and ingredients in there. We also got coffee, which was served like a brunch place coffee; however, it tasted much different from a typical American brunch restaurant coffee.Overall, if you’re looking for an actual coffeeshop with a variety of coffee drinks, this location is not yours. If you’re looking for experimental brunch menus, this is a nice place to try. As seen in the menu you won’t find typical American brunch menu items.Last but not least, this building used to be a church, which was converted to a night club (or something like that), and now it is a hotel and this coffeeshop is in its first floor.“
“Solid coffee. Some unsolicited advice - you need to rearrange the tables in a more ergonomic way. There are too many tables that are too tightly packed near the “pick up” zone and it led to some awkward crowding. Either take away one table or move around the whole arrangement to make room for people picking up coffees.“
“I order from here on Uber Eats a lot and the food is always good. I’ve been to their other location where the decor is more old world cafe; this one looked more corporate so I wasn’t sure if it would be comfy to sit in. But it is! Very nice, tables big enough for laptop and work set-up with lots of outlets. Staff very friendly and considerate. Every coffee and baked good and sandwich and salad I’ve had has been great. I usually get the prosciutto and mozzarella sandwich.“
“I had an excellent experience at this Starbucks location. The organization of the space is impressive, with plenty of comfortable seating options. What stood out to me the most was how smoothly the traffic flowed, making my visit relaxing and enjoyable. I’ll definitely be returning!“
“Would recommend this place to anybody. Can’t say anything other than that Pearl Street Cafe is the best catering service I have ever used. Such great food, great service, and so convenient. As a rep that often needs catering in the mornings for offices, I truly don’t know what I would do without their help and service here. Always on time and never disappoints. Great all around!“
“3/10/2020 A young lady in the drive thru around 12:15pm today who made my coffee was so polite and helpful! I gave her some confusing instructions on how to make this new style of coffee I decided to try and it came out a bit differently than I thought. (Med. Iced mocha, not too much mocha, xx, with coconut and almond pumps) She remade it for me even though it was technically what I asked for! She altered it just slightly with a little more mocha and it came out perfectly! Now that is the type of customer service that any company wants, an employee that strives for the best and goes above and beyond! ✨ I didn't catch your name today, but you'll know it's you when you get to see this. Stay positive just the way you are and you will have great success! Thank you ?✨“
“The area is quite nice and outdoor seating really gives the coffee house vibes,Parking: There are about 10 spots in the connected lot, if that's full there's street paid parking and some potentially free spots on a side street, good luck with those though.“
“I love this cafe in Wayland square. They have Parisian sandwiches, coffee and croissants along with many other pastries and lots of other delicacies! Very friendly atmosphere inside and a wonderful large out door seating.A favorite among the local elite...Vegetarian options: Lots of sandwiches optionsKid-friendliness: Can sit outside with the baby carriage.Wheelchair accessibility: Outside seating..“
“I just found out, that if you pay with a credit card you pay about a 3% markup. This is not posted anywhere & apparently they tell at checkout (which is not the case). Love the place, but will use cash more often.Parking: Street parking if you can find it. Best very early, they open at 7am, or later throughout the day.Wheelchair accessibility: Not wheelchair accessible. There are steps.“
“I honestly don't like honey dew coffee but because it's in the gas station and I'm trying to save time by getting gas and coffee, I'll get one but the lady that's always there is so nice and is great at customer service so I wanted to give her props ?“
“Love this place since all drinks are made with Lactaid (lactose-free) milk. I got the almond milk tea with bubbles @ 30% sugar. Service was nice and quick, and the boba was cooked perfectly. Nice relatively atmosphere for studying as wellDietary restrictions: Good for lactose-free“
“My sister was getting married in Providence on 12/2. We were staying at the Graduate and the wedding party was getting ready there. I reached out to the café owner, Shana late to request catering. She kindly stated she was able to offer what she had on the café menu. I ordered coffee, decaf coffee, breakfast sandwiches and parfaits. Everything was fantastic. The breakfast sandwich was one of the best I've had. They delivered on time and made sure we had everything we needed.I had asked the hotel for an ice bucket, but they didn't have one except for the small square cup for ice in the rooms. I asked the café if they had one and the gentleman working was kind enough to go check the restaurant to see if they had one and delivered! All in all food was delicious and I was most impressed by the customer service. Thank you!“
“Came here the other day and this poor chick was working seemingly all by herself. But she kept the line running smoothly and I watched her change her gloves before handling my food and then again before the next car pulled up. Didn't catch the name but whoever she is deserves a raise, you don't see hustle like that every day!“
“The strawberry short cake is soooooo delicious !They also have a spacious parking lot. What’s most important is their outstanding customer service:Cloey is very attentive and empathetic. We had some challenges with the cake we bought and she handled the situation with great customer - centric mindset and care.Honored to be a customer of this bakery!“
“Mohamed was a great host. He served us a delicious Moroccan tea that reminds me of my childhood in Sale, Morocco ??. Mohamed gave us Humus and pita bread on the house. Mohamed is a Moroccan who has a pride in what he does!We were so happy. The environment makes one feels at home. I am definitely coming back with my all family in May to have a full Moroccan meal!Thank you Mohamed and Salma for your great service!Vive le Maroc ??“
“Came here with the intentions of getting a bagel and I ended up, leaving with several pastries and sandwiches because of the quality of the food. The only thing better than the food is the service. I had my interaction with Joey , he definitely made the experience worth taking the time to write this review in hopes whoever reads this decides to take the chance I did. You will be disappointed“
“Looking for well-balanced exotic coffee drinks?! You are looking at the right place! You can find many well-crafted coffee based drinks with a wide variety of flavors in a nice ambiance.I wish the open hours were longer though.Highly recommended!“
