Deluise is a cute little bakery my friends and I stopped by just before leaving Providence. Apparently, they've been open for the past 70 years, which is quite impressive, so I had to see what all the fuss was about. I've been wanting to try the donuts out at Deluise Bakery for awhile now. I finally made the trip over. Parking was easy right out front. When I walked in I was surprised at how many donut options they had! They had the chocolate frosted ones they are known for, but also different jelly filled donuts, quite the variety. Great old school neighborhood bakery. A variety of offerings; but DON'T miss out on the FANTASTIC donuts they offer...easily some of THE BEST traditional donuts around (and extremely reasonably priced! The young woman that helped me with a couple of questions had a great & infectious smile (what kind of jelly in the jelly donut, what's coming out of the oven soon that smells incredible?)
