No longer exists as JP Spoonem's. Now is , All Favorites Cafe. Not what I was looking for but what we did have was good. Clean and nicely decorated. Small menu with not anything like original restaurant we came for. Excellent presentation of food, nice flavor but very small portions. Service was ok but pleasant.

Just ate an early lunch at this adorable family run diner. Stumbled upon it and so glad we did. Dynamite menu with something for everyone. Kind and friendly waitresses. Bright and clean decor. Makes me so happy to support local businesses, especially in these challenging times. I can’t wait to go back!! Highly recommend the avocado toast and their hash is a MUST!!!!!

Fantastic meal and top notch service! The owners were lovely and when we told them we were from out of town, they stopped to chat about the area. Delicious meal, especially the corned beef hash!

Visited this hidden gem with my older sister and her close friend. As a native New Yorker, i can humbly say its extremely difficult to find fresh quality food crafted finely where i live. Rhode Island is a small state but with alot to offer. There's never a dull moment when i come up here. This place will be in the scrapbooks, do not let your experience here go

This has got to be one of the best diners in Cranston, if not Rhode Island. A traditional Yankee menu and some of the nicest staff in the state make this place a must go. However, prepare for a bit of a wait on the weekend. Seating is limited and everyone from town wants eat here.

Been going to Spoonem's over the last 20 years I've always had fabulous food and the most fun ever. The owners take delight in communicating with their clientele and make everyone feel at home. This is a place to go back to week after week month after month year after year. There's always something new and delicious on the menu!!!!

Wow wow wow! Probably the best breakfast spot! I'm never disappointed with them. Good is always fresh and up to par! Great customer service as well. They treat you like family and always find a way to converse with you. I love it and I think you will too

I've driven by this place for years - and for much of that time assumed it was an ice cream parlor (because, well, JP Licks in the Boston area...). Let's agree: Spoonems is an unusual name. Now let's move on. Once I learned it was a breakfast lunch spot, it moved to my "try me" list - and I'm so glad I did just that! This is the first & only place I've been that offers a smoked salmon (lox) hash instead of the more traditional meaty hash - and it's hella good, y'all! My husband could not get enough!!! Like he scarfed it down even before he touched anything else on his plate. I had a traditional egg/toast/meat breakfast and was pleasantly surprised that I could get either a frittata or an omelet as my main course, no diff in price. The frittata was large, full of fresh & delicious veggies, and was... oh so yummy. The iced coffee was decent but not great tbh, but I'll allow it since many restaurants with great hot coffee aren't making iced fresh every day; they're restaurants, not coffee shops after all! Ok: we moved from the must try list to the must come back often/add it to the brunch & breakfast out rotation. And that's a good thing: This is a neighborhood place, with lots of servers & customers on a first name basis. Given this friendliness, our party of 4 was allowed to sit for a long time, with no push to eat, pay and get out. That's a true and rare plus (we had a lot of catching up to do). Another plus? Though there are signs saying cash only - and regulars all seemed to pay in cash - if you spend more than $10 you can use a card (which was perfect since none of us was excited about using the always sketchy on site ATM). The downside of a cozy neighborhood spot? Service, as others have said, is slow here - maybe only for newbies like us, but I won't be able to verify that until at least my 4th or 5th visit Great breakfast spot!

I am so happy I live close to this place. I've been many many times and the food is always great and the service is awesome. Everyone who works there is super kind and friendly. Two of my favorite dishes I highly recommend are the apple cider waffle if you're in the mood for something sweet, and the eggs carbonara if you want savory. And the corned beef hash is as good as they say it is! Can't recommend this place enough!
