Wow. Wish I had found this sooner. Stopped for brunch on my way to the airport and Nick's did not disappoint. Hot honey chicken biscuit was absolutely delicious. Got the dressed greens as the side and they were amazing as well. It was mesmerizing to sit at the chef's bar and watch the kitchen at work. So many things on the menu I wanted to try. Perhaps I'll make it back to Rhode Island one day (preferably in, let's say, July!). Service here is top notch as well. Top 5 restaurant in the country for me.

Excellent meal. Our server recognized that we weren't in a rush (old friends catching up) and paced our meal perfectly giving us plenty of time to chat and eat. The food was delightful with little twists that made it memorable (the strawberry vinaigrette in the mignonette for the oysters, the hint of apple in the savory soup, the watermelon radishes in the salad). Highly recommend!

Very delicious food!! But it took a long time to get… They knew it and that's why in the end they knew how to apologize with good details and kindness. I appreciate

The reason Nick's is not receiving a better review is because it literally took 1.25 hrs for them to deliver our food. The food was delicious once we got it, and our waitress gave great service. IT WAS THE KITCHEN. We finally had to ask our waitress to go to the kitchen and get our food or we would leave. Even then, it took 5 minutes to get one plate (soup and a grill cheese), and another 5 minutes to get the other plate (Eggs Bene). It's a shame. I'd like to fully recommend Nick's. I can't. And at the very least, we should have been given a discount.

Nick's has incredibly delicious, creative, fresh dishes. Ingredients are super high quality and locally sourced. Huge interesting drink menu, both alcoholic and non. Eclectic, historic building design with multiple seating options, indoors and out. The staff is friendly, attentive, very professional, and they make sure to ask about allergies or food issues. Make a reservation if you can as it is somewhat small and very popular, so w/o one there will probably be a wait except for the bar. I have been here many times and will continue to patronize Nick's to enjoy Derek's food!!

Nick's on Broadway never disappoints. Barbara took care of us and she was wonderful. We sat at the bar and so enjoy seeing the communication in the kitchen. We don't get out much (2 kids), but when we do...we choose Nick's!

It is very cold, it feels like it does not have air conditioning, the waiter takes a long time, the food seems to be prepared at the moment but you realize that it is not because of its bad seasoning. There are better options in the area, less popular but much better than here.Their menu is very poor, it has more alcohol than food, I think it is a place for alcoholics.

I am so over the top in love with nicks on broadway. Reservations: Simple and easy to make and edit, if needed. Even asked about any special occasion that we may be celebrating. Yes, we had a bday to celebrate. Service: Spot on! Attentive, friendly, knowledgable and anticipated our every need. Food Quality: Our entrees were perfect. The timing, temperature, presentation and flavor. The poached eggs were perfectly, cooked, chicken was moist and flavorful and the biscuits.....out of this world. Special Attention: Our birthday was celebrated with special treats that were beautiful, sweet and extremely thoughtful. The team at Nick's is an example to all restauranteurs on how to provide your guests with exemplary service, sophisticated yet simple food at affordable prices. Well done! I will continue to drive from MA to enjoy brunch @ Nick's on Broadway often. Cheers! Nancy

I had a wonderful experience at Nick’s last night. Brought my dad there for his birthday on a reservation I had made the night before. We were running ahead of schedule so called to see if they could take us early and they were SO accommodating! Also, I had mentioned (very much in passing) when I made the rez that it was my dad’s bday. I definitely didn’t make a big deal about it. And shortly after we sat down, our server (maybe she was the manager/owner?) brought over 2 glasses of Prosecco and wished him a happy birthday!!! What an amazing and thoughtful touch! The food was amazing as usual (I love nicks!) and when asked, our server knew where all the ingredients came from (almost all local!) and even turned me on to a new delicious tequila (also from a local family!). Overall, A+ rating for Nick’s!! Thank you!

We went for Restaurant Week for Sunday Brunch so as expected service was a bit slow just because they are always slammed on Sundays (and at every other time?). We used to live around the corner and came often before the pandemic, but this was our first return in several years. The $25 brunch was good, but after all it was just potatoes, a couple of eggs, and a very nice biscuit, with a parfait and a drink choice to lead in. The parfait was good, but it's tough to beat home cooking since we eat some variation of that dish just about every morning of course with much greater quantity, equal quality and taste, etc. Coffee and mimosa were very good, and when we asked for a refill at the end the server gave us two large to-go cups that were quite a pleasant surprise (they need to turn over the tables). The very humble fare was delicious as always - love the biscuit, love the eggs, the potatoes were both white and sweet potatoes in decent quantity, done more or less perfectly (though I prefer mine a bit crisper), and of course the bacon and ham were great. We sat in the white brick room in between the buzzing bar and front dining room, and the covered patio in the back-back. This was a nice space for a middle-aged couple because it was spacious and relatively quiet, though we missed the hubbub of the good old days when we always were seated in the front dining room in view of the kitchen action. All in all very fine - still a place I'd recommend highly to anyone visiting PVD, and still a place that even if you order very simple stuff, you won't be disappointed.
