We popped in here for an app and drink prior to another reservation, and never wanted to leave! Michael at the bar was so wonderful -- he was kind, knowledgable, and had the perfect service timing. The restaurant seemed great, but Michael is what took it over the top. Thanks for your service, Mike!!!

Fantastic birthday dinner! Everything was delicious, the server, Michelle was lovely and very attentive. We had an incredible wine recommendation and enjoyed it so much we took the bottle home for the memory. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely amazing Italian food! The gnocchi was perfectly cooked. I ordered it with the blush sauce and it was outstanding. Pan e vino is a great chose if you want authentic Italian.

The food was outstanding, the service was impeccable, even the valet was excellent! Should out to Simone, our server the last two times we were there. She was attentive and accommodating and generally delightful. Couldn't recommend more highly.

We were looking for a gluten free Italian restaurant to treat our son, s student at Brown. Pane e Vino was highly rated by gluten free patrons so we gave it a try. It did not disappoint!! The gluten free offerings were amazing!! Our server was so friendly and conscientious. It was our best dining experience in Providence over the best 3 years. My son was so happy!! This is our new go to restaurant.

I had the bolognese. How can you go wrong? It turns out you can - it was more like a marinara with a bit of ground pork here and there. A real letdown. Not even a great marinara. My glass of wine was lovely, and the tiramisu was out of this world! But it didn't make up for my disappointment over the bolognese.

Great service, delicious food and wine, very filling portions, and even a gf menu for my friend. But be prepared to spend.

Our waitress was Simone. She was really great! Very upbeat & attentive and her recommendations were fabulous choices. Her warmth was much appreciated and the food was on point. That bread pudding never disappoints!!!! Overall awesome experience!

Had a reservation for a birthday celebration this past weekend. Our server Dwight (aka Charles) was amazing. We must've done 10 courses and each one was amazing. The apps, the pasta dishes, the entrees, the wine... This place is phenomenal.

The food was great and the servers were fantastic as always The hostess on the other hand was not welcoming and dressed in very casual clothes which offsets the whole atmosphere. We had reservations and we called saying we might be 20 minutes They said you are already 5 minutes late so we can't hold your reservation. So somehow we made it in fifteen minutes which is the limit . When we got there we had to wait fifteen minutes more for a table. The place is cozy but it needs freshening up . They need to dust and wash the walls .

Let me first say that this was always our favorite restaurant on the Hill. We have lived out of state for the past 8 yrs so this was our first time back. Wow, not the same restaurant, except for the same old , perhaps dated Tuscan interior. We had reservations for 3 people at 7pm.When we arrived we were told it would a few minutes, Ok. 30 minutes and after several walkin, no reservations party's, who clearly the knew the host were seated, we were finally seated. Our cocktails arrived after our app, and second before our main meal. Food was ok, but not what it use to be. Dessert~ don't order the olive oil cake, tasted like old fryerlator oil.A $200 bill before tip, definitely not worth it.The highlight of the night was John the valet. He was friendly and efficient. Perhaps he should be running the place!

Food was wonderful. So was ambience. One big compliment and one big critique:Critique: We were told the restaurant was fully booked and to sit at the bar. The restaurant was completely empty the whole time. They sat an 87 year old with a cane at the bar instead of just realizing that no-shows exist and it’s normal to overseat.Compliment: Mike at the bar was wonderful, attentive, and lovely. Great server.

I believe we had Simone as our server. The value this young lady brings to the establishment is priceless. She's attentive, caring and really took care of us when we had to suddenly leave. She gave the Valet our ticket in advance so our car would be waiting, she packed our dinner to go and quickly closed out our check. She CARES! Kudos to you and your very lucky employer. Great Service and food. I highly recommend it.

Amazing food! I had the Insalata Rucola and the Chicken Saltimbocca and my husband had the Arancini and the Fusilli Al Ragú Napolitano. Every thing was delicious! The only slightly odd part of the experience was the music -a strange station was playing that mixed 90's hard rock and more modern pop- unexpected for the ambiance?
