Very attentive service.


Awesome authentic Italian food! Great service!

Didn’t love my meal (lobster ravioli), but apps were excellent (calamari) and dinner special was great (filet and crab ravioli)


BEWARE of RACIST and untrained servers and staff! We visited for a friend's birthday. The host was gracious and brought us to a table they had set with stars and a little Happy Birthday note, which started our evening on a WONDERFUL note. Unfortunately, it all ended there. Our server came over and introduced herself saying bread would be right over, but then got distracted and wandered off. She then came over and immediately asked what we wanted to eat, completely forgoing our drinks. We ordered our drinks, which seemed to confuse her and then she just left without our food order as we tried to tell her what we wanted. We finally flagged her down and put in our appetizer order. Shortly after we had to flag her down to put in our meal and wine order. The restaurant seemed to be out of most of the wines we wanted. Then just before our meals came, the server came back again to tell us they were also out of that wine. We finally ordered another bottle, but it did not show up until almost 10 minutes after our meals came. When it did come she asked who would taste it. One member of our party has a masters degree in Oenology (Wine making) and offered to. Besides speaking Italian, he is of latino origin and does have an accent. The waitress simply looked at him and said that he didn't count as he was not planning to drink the wine first. The waitress then began to argue with him that he could not taste it and poured it for someone else. Telling a customer they do not count was horribly rude and put a huge damper on the evening. Later we ordered desert, and the waitress again scolded the same person for not ordering desert correctly (basically because he pronounced the name of the desert in perfect Italian). She then forgot one of the deserts completely when serving. It was clear to us that the server was giving him a hard time due to his accent and race (possibly for being gay as well), but also had no clue about the menu, wine, food or current stock.


Amazing experience from start to finish, incredible front of house staff backed up by a talented kitchen. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly, the meatballs are divine, the special crab ravioli was to die for. Special mention to Austin the GM who is outstanding and was professional whilst still being personal.


Nice Federal Hill restaurant. In par with many of the others.

Great food and the staff never rushed us and they were all so polite. One of the best dinners I’ve had in a long time. Great selection of wines also. Everything was perfect!!!!


Pane e Vino has always been one of our favorite restaurants in Providence. The managers and the staff always treat people like family. I have a gluten allergy, and they provide one of the largest gluten free menus to choose from. Half priced wine for both glasses, and bottles on Mondays is another plus. We had a great dinner outside in the back patio with no one else around. Our server Kaitlyn was fantastic- super kind, informative and patient! We had the duck confit which was delicious. We also had the half lobster ravioli and half order of gnocchi and both were great as well! Can’t wait to go back!

A local recommended Pan e Vino and we are so happy we reserved. Even for a busy Saturday evening in the summer the food and service remained superb. Chicken Parmigiana cooked to perfection. Try the lemon gelato for dessert. Note that traffic is blocked off on Atwells for pediestian traffic on the weekend for dinner. If you are driving, congestion in the area is quite challenging. Walk a few blocks away from Atwells to hail Lyft and Uber.


I loved the atmosphere, the food, the service. It was wonderful. I'm vegan and the changed and recommended dishes to accommodate me. My Italian boyfriend said it was just like his Mother's and Grandmother's cooking. Brianna our waitress was wonderful, Austen the general manager came out and talked to us to make sure we liked our meal. My pasta came out hot, which I love and so appreciate. It couldn't have been better. The only warning I have is that the streets on Federal Hill were blocked out that night, so parking was a hassle. They should forewarn people when Federal Hill is going to be blocked off to traffic when they make reservations.

Traditional Italian cuisine. Best in RI by far. Wine list paired expertly to food menu. Attentive service. Outdoors on a summer night…can’t be best!!
