Hated the food , I’d order just never get what I paid 80$ worth of food for. I LOVE crabrangoons but this place destroyed them for me , added too much pepper and practically a whole onion and celery?? Idk how that is considered a Thai Rangoon but it’s a definite no for me . Love cocoon shrimp was t clear that if you get friend coconut shrimp it’s in the batter and not the creamy coconut sauce that’s usually on them . Even thought the menu states it has coconut sauce. Beef lo mein was dry and chewy like. It was just god awful. If anyone considers it border make sure u are aware of what they do the some of their foods and it’s not Thai just abnormal and not necessary with too an overload of ingredients especially onions !!!

I am highly disappointed to say the least. The fact that I even have to write this sucks, I was really hoping to enjoy the food but it was a miss. The chicken was hard for the teryaki bowl and they used the same chicken for their gereral chicken only they coated it to fry which not crispy at all and soggy/wet. The rice wasnt mixed together the crab rangoons were the worst Ive EVER had. Overall the worst choice I made all yr. 60 bucks down the drain :'(

I wanted to enjoy this restaurant so bad after reading the story of how it started and checking out the reviews but I was extremely disappointed by the take out "crispy" sesame chicken I ordered during my lunch break from work nearby. It's a small portion, highly broccoli dominant ( I had no idea there was broccoli in the 13.95 appetizer as there's neither picture nor description on the site), and wasn't crispy or flavorful. My chicken was very soggy and I picked it up about 12 minutes after I ordered. That was unexpected as the menuify website (which I paid an extra 1.50 for using to order takeout) claimed my meal would be ready 30-45 minutes later. Delighted at the speed, I was shocked when I found my chicken was completely wet. Tasted kind of sour and bland as well. If I had picked it up later, it could have been even worse as it was sitting on the counter when I walked in.Nice people. Good crab rangoon (I'd rate it 3/5 taste) at $6 for 6 Rangoon, but bad sesame chicken. I wouldn't order it again and I wouldn't order from this restaurant again. Highly disappointing main :(

I’ve ordered for Thai Star a few times and the food has always been very good. However, last night we placed an order on Grubhub and it said they were open, it didn’t even say closing soon. First our order was delayed, which is understandable on a Saturday night. But then we got a call from an unknown party yelling that another driver was coming. Later we got an alert it was delivered, but it never was. We checked everywhere (even our neighbors) and it was nowhere. The restaurant was closed at this point too so we couldn’t even verify if it was the driver who messed up or if they just ended up not making our food and tried passing it off as delivered. Either way we ended up with no food at a later hour which limited what we could even get at that point. I know mistakes happen but the communication here could use a lot of improvement.

We came here on a weekend afternoon and called in a reservation for 10 people. The place was pretty empty aside from a few to-go orders. The food took awhile to get to us but we weren't in a rush. Plus, it meant that everything was being made very fresh, which our food very much was. Among the 10 of us, we ordered a lot of food, including the papaya salad, dumplings, scallion pancakes, yellow curry, and pineapple fried rice. The scallion pancakes weee perfectly crispy and flaky, and were really quite good. The papaya salad also had all the fine flavors. Everyone also enjoyed the dumplings. I think the pineapple fried rice could have been more fragrant and I was disappointed that the yellow curry wasn't as sweet, or as fragrant as I'm used to, but it was still really good stuff. But I'm glad the curry came with rice and that we didn't have to place extra orders there. Overall I'm really glad we settled on this Thai place - it was really quite good and the prices were very reasonable. They also made it very easy for us to pay by keeping separate tabs for each family. And it was nice they have a private parking lot as well so you don't have to park your car in the street. I definitely recommend this place. The place is well decorated, clean, and has a good amount of tables for various customers.

I would be very surprised if this place doesn't get shut down by the health department or go out of business based on service alone. Upon ordering my food I could only get my half my order in before it sounded like another customer walked in and I was hung up on. Reluctantly I called back two times. On my third call right before I was about to give up I get an answer and I'm able to complete my order for pick up. I wasn't asked for my name or number but was told It would be ready in about 20 minutes, fair enough. I get there 30 minutes after and the store is closed. I have to walk back to my car and call to have the doors unlocked. Entering the building the place was cluttered and had a faint smell of dust. The coffee pot stashed away in a hoard of items caught my attention. It looked like it had been sitting for ages. One of the employees rushes to the front with two plastic cups spilling ice trying to fill them up muttering under her breath. A few minutes later another lady appears and apologizes for them not having any Thai iced tea. I asked if there was any other tea available but to my disappointment I was offered the stale coffee in the corner of the restaurant I had noticed earlier. The food was mid. The crab Rangoons were soggy and the filling was gross. Also the sweet and sour dripped like water when dipped which was extremely off putting. The coconut shrimp was okay but again, everything had a stale overtone to it. The pad Thai was able to be salvaged by a heavy ration of Siracha. If I could give this place a 0 I would.
