If you want a great steak and steakhouse, this place definitely delivers. The steak, and several other foods, are absolutely fantastic. Also, this place really looks like a steakhouse: high ceilings, huge floor-ceiling windows, dark reds and stained woods. I was impressed the bread-bowl had four very different breads. My tenderloin tasted amazing, every mouthful was cherished. It also came with two lobsters, I very rarely eat lobster, as it usually tastes bland, only when it is cooked to perfection do I love it; as I was in New England I ordered the lobster, and it was absolutely delicious, beautifully delicate, and cherished just like the steak with which it came. The brussel sprouts were similarly perfect. The sextet of oysters were small and average. I also had a beet/goats-cheese salad, which was similarly disappointing. However, overall, lots of great food to be had.
Erich and Jake, you both made my husband's and I anniversary dinner super special! This was our first time at the grill and we loved everything about this experience. We cannot wait to go back soon!
In a class move, In laws treated us to a nice thank you/anniversary dinner. We had a reservation but we still waited for a few minutes to be seated -however it was a Friday night and earlier than we usually go. FIL didn't like our table, and asked to be moved near the windows. They moved us no problem, even though they already had a nice note and some heart sprinkles on the table. They even tossed some fresh hearts on the new table. Ian was great as a server and the food was excellent. Brussel sprouts had a bit too much soy sauce this time compared to what they usually do but everything else was amazing and those were still great. Gin martini with blue olives, ice cold and perfectly poured. Gorgonzola aged steak with Cabernet reduction served rare is the way to go for those looking for flavor complexity. Wife had the filet, butterflied since she likes it cooked a hair too much. In laws loved their meals as well. Manager came around and checked in on us and wished us a happy anniversary. Finished it off with the coconut dessert, so good. They had written happy anniversary. Ian took the valet ticket and had it ready and waiting for us when we exited. It's a small gesture but no one anywhere else ever thinks to do it. Especially appreciated with elderly in laws. My wife always loves “Olive Garden plus” and I do too! It's meant with affection, we always get a great meal and great service. Keep up the good work guys!

Dining experience was outstanding. I've been to many Capital Grille venues around the country, and while typically positive experiences, last night was particularly enjoyable. The food and ambiance were excellent, but Mark our server was remarkably talented. His timing was perfect, and his personal disposition and professional presence were uncommonly superior. We will be back soon!
Server Maura was fantastic, as always. She helped us celebrate a career milestone our daughter had. She treated us to some unique treats to make evening special. Steaks were perfect too. Maura's impeccable service always brings us back.

John Burke, our waiter is superb. He makes dining a fun experience. He is concerned but not intrusive. The steak was cooked perfectly, the sides amazing! The seafood tower is mouthwatering. Awesome meal at The Capital Grille.
My fiancé and I went to dinner last night for our anniversary. We had the most exceptional service. Upon arriving to our table, heart confetti and a note stating happy anniversary were there. But what made our experience so pleasant was our server, Ken. Ken was personable, informative and just all around a great guy. He took multiple photos of us at the table without us even having to ask, noting to take them in time before the church lights in the background were turned off. The Capital Grille is lucky to have someone like Ken working for them. At the end of dinner, we got a complementary desert for our anniversary. Needless to say we will be back, and will be sure to request Ken as our server.
We had a really great dinner at CG last night. Hadn't been in a while, but the food was perfectly cooked and the service was stellar. We had a quiet table tucked away in a corner, so we were able to talk and enjoy our meal without being disturbed. It was a great experience all the way around.

My son treated me to dinner here and it was wonderful! The only downside was the "pan fried calamari ". We specifically went there because he wanted that dish but it looked and tasted more deep-fried than pan fried. That was a disappointment. However, the ambience, our waiter Jeff ( very friendly, funny and attentive), and a perfectly grilled ribeye with delicious bernaise sauce more than made up for that. I hope to return.

Celebrated my wife's birthday this evening and the Capital Grille did not disappoint. The hostess verified our reservation and wished my wife a happy birthday before we were seated. Upon being seated, there was a birthday note card on the table with assorted birthday confetti. The service we received was outstanding. The food was on point, no complaints here. Atmosphere was great. I'm so looking forward to my next visit. Thank you for a flawless evening!

food, service and cocktails were outstanding. kudos to Tiana Scarlett our server ... friendly, responsive, knowledgeable. She want out of her way to help recreate the sushi grade tuna meal with 3 tasting sauces. Made my day. BA
