Was absolutely excited to try this place out and even more excited that it was open on New Years Day!!! The only downfall is their attempt to have other options. This is a grilled cheese spot so while they try to have a variety with their bowls stick to what they specialize in. Sandwiches are a bit pricey but because we enjoyed it so much I do not mind paying what we paid. Service was pleasant & warm which was nice on a day like New Year's Day. I had the Cali-melt. It has turkey, bacon, Swiss cheese and avacado smash. Omg so delicious! Big sandwich too. I love the vibe here also. The staff is so friendly and chill. I had nice conversation while waiting for my food. I will be back again soon.
My fiance ordered the grilled cheese with bacon and I ordered a cuban. The sandwiches were pretty big and very filling. I highly recommend a visit to UMelt. Grab an official Rhode Island soda to wash it all down.
