“We were a party of four on a Friday night at 7:30. People filled the place by 8:30. There was a $15 cover to see Take it to the Bridge. The sound in the place is fantastic and the band was awesome. We also ate dinner from the cafe. I had the Nashville Chicken sandwich with house chip that was on the specials menu for the night (mild, medium, hot) $17. The sandwich was very large, cooked perfectly and it was delicious. I ordered it spicy hot, but it had no spice at all. There was a slight taste of ranch, I think they spread some on the bun. The waitress didn't come over to ask how everything was so I didn't get a chance to get hot sauce of any kind. I also tried the panko chicken sandwich, which was also excellent. The chicken was lightly battered, it was pretty much had the texture of a grilled chicken sandwich. It had lettuce, tomato, pickles, aioli, and bacon. The chicken was tender and juicy and the bacon was crispy. I would recommend going for the music and the food. The menu is small, but has plenty of healthy and not so healthy option to please a wide variety of tastes.“
“So much fun even if you are a terrible bowler. Went with a group for a fundraiser. Pitchers of beer, mixed drinks, and food available at the lanes. Great for parties. Connected sports bar with bar food and tons of tvs to watch any sport you wish. Enjoyed the nachos and quesadillas. Fun time!!“
“I ate at The Pantry for the first time and it was an excellent experience all around! The waitress was kind and attentive, and the food was delectable. The menu has a wonderful array of options that will appeal to all. The owners were conversing with customers and were working hard to ensure the restaurant was running smoothly. The Pantry is a gem of Westerly and I will definitely be going back soon!“
“Horrible quality of food! Barely any flavor n maybe 4 mushrooms on burger 2 small slices of bacon n one slice of cheese .20$ on a burger n fries! I'm so disappointed! I'll go to McDonald's or burger King n get more of a burger than here!“
“A trip to Westerly from CT to pick up a prom dress brought us here because Ramen and noodle restaurants are hard to find near us in New London County. We had to park street side, and we were the first ones there when they opened. Greeted immediately and we started with the pan-fried Dumplings. PERFECT! So nice we forgot to take a pic. We then had a lovely Mojito-styled mocktail and then on to the main dish of "drunken and black sauces" over our Ramen. The portions are perfect, we took some home. Packed with flavor and very fresh ingredients. I would love to know where they get their produce from it was super fresh and the fruits in our desserts (sticky rice and fried ice cream) were of the best quality! I never order two desserts, we usually share one but we made an exception this day. So glad we did! The atmosphere is quaint and limited in space, the staff is super amazing and helpful. I am so glad we found this Noodle Restaurant, we plan to come here anytime we are in Westerly. Locals are so lucky!!“
“We had an awesome experience we met the new manager Lindsay, She was so friendly and welcoming. We loved our food. My friend got boneless chicken breast wrapped in lettuce, I got the buffalo chicken sandwich And we got truffle fries on the side. They also sell fair trade certified Maine root. Certified organic root beer. We will definitely come back and try this again. We are coming from Massachusettes. I get five stars for everything. Also I wanted to add the place is so clean and the girl cooking in the back Nelly looks like she actually likes her job ?“
“I have gone to Sam's shack for years ...always enjoyed the sun and the parking attendant was always a hoot. We have since became friends. They have a wonderful lifeguard on duty at all times throughout the week. Good food at the shack . Breakfast and lunch or snacks ?. Plenty of parking also $20Parking: Very good parking area. Plenty of parking also“
“I've been here before as well, but this time we visited for my mom's birthday. Brought our two young kids (6&8). All of the food was amazing! We got the nachos for an appetizer, soup, salad, cod, eggplant parm, and the kids got a burger. I think they may have the best nachos I've ever had before. And I love my nachos ? Will definitely be going again when we're in town.“
“We had a wonderful time at the Farmhouse Kitchen & Bar. Service was excellent. Food was delicious. We sat right by the fireplace which was very cozy. On another occasion we sat in the bar and that was very nice..perfect for those nights when you don't feel like cooking. I'm sure we will be back again!“
“Meal was delayed. Cash out was also delayed. Food was excellent and worth the wait. Really enjoy having a drink in the bar by rhe fire before dinner. One of our party was disappointed because there was no soup on a cold nite. That said there were plenty of apps she could have picked instead. I always lament that we cant drive out there in daylight, but this was a special occasion and a matinee just wouldn't do.“
“Once again, the COAST experience pleased us to no end. The “Ellen and Eli” wine dinner was spectacular! And we so enjoy the Coast staff! I hesitate to mention particular people, as everyone is wonderful. Zach and Sam were standouts. Thank you again.....hope to see you at the next wine event. ?“
“Overlooked gem of a place. Convenient downtown location, overlooking the Pawcatuck River. Great atmosphere, interesting drinks, attentive service. Creative and delicious dishes. Will return.Parking: A few spaces directly in front of restaurant. Hidden from street view—need to come down driveway. Street parking and public lots nearby.“
“The Guinness French onion soup was AMAZING. The burger was cooked to perfection .The wait staff was very attentive. Great menu choices. Quaint atmosphere.Parking could be an issue in the summerParking: Limited parking on the street. The fo have reserved parking in the back but probably not enough to accommodate a lot of patrons. But don't be deterred by this it's a great place“
“The ambience is amazing here. Couple of things to point out that we thought are noteworthy. I had a side dish of asparagus that was such a small portion. Just was hard to believe that was typical. Also, at times the service was a bit confusing. We would be asked something that another server (multiple ) had already taken care of. Maybe a bit more communication on there end could help. This occurred 3 or 4 times. Overall we enjoyed!“
“Enjoyed an outstanding dining experience at Ella's.We started with foie gras club and fried hen of the woods mushroom appetizers. The flavors were delicious. The foie gras club had a great crunch with tomato jam, bacon and seared foie gras.It was out of this world. The fried hen mushrooms with ricotta and goat cheese were a fungi experience. Our server, Chris, was on the mark all night, her care in service was over the top but not overbearing. Her enthusiasm for this chef and restaurant was incredible. We chose the duck duo, a duck leg confit and a seared duck breast, while my partner had the grilled halibut special with asparagus tips, peas, and the fluffiest spinach gnocchis. The piece de resistance was chunks of lobster included with this meal. The flavors in both were heavenly. The thyme as jus with the duck was simply delish. The duck confit was perfectly prepared and a joy to eat, crunch by crunch. The seared duck breast cooked med-rare had a great crispness cap and still cooked to the right temp and married well with the sauce. Even the mashed potatoes elevated their taste to go with the duo dish. We somehow had room to have a dessert made in house, a cake with almond flour, candied pistachios, raspberries and vanilla gelato. Well made expresso and mochachino added to the fine dessert offering. This evening's meal will be something that I will always remember. Ella's put out a stunning dining experience. My thanks to the chef-owner Jeanie Roland and her incredible staff for a remarkable and memorable dining experience. I look forward to visiting again, and trying some other items from their varied menu.“
