The restaurant was closed but opened for a private event and even donated part of the proceeds to the charity we were raising funds for. Friendly staff that go out of their way to make sure you feel welcomed there and great food. 29 years ago this was a hotel on the ocean, but hurricane Sandy took it out...all but the stone chimney which still stands surrounded by a beach bar/restaurant. We stayed in the hotel on our wedding night 29 years ago and went for our lunch on our anniversary this year. Great drinks, great service, BEST view. I wasn't thrilled with the lobster salad...it was the consistency of tuna and I was expecting something different, so I switched with hubby and loved his crispy fish...read full review

October 1st this year we returned to the shoreline to rekindle, by the fireplace that has remained, our marriage and those fond memories of yesteryear.
