We love Mexican Spots, we’re from NYC. We’re here for my Wife birthday weekend. Found this spot online, and we went. Amazing food and a whole bunch of hot sauces you can try! I’m a hot spicy food lover.Kid-friendliness: We had kids with us, it was no issue sitting with them in the booth.
It's about expectations. If you expect this to be like most local Mexican restaurants, you'll be surprised as it is not.It's more like a modern sports bar that serves Mexican food.The food was ok, the service was good, the prices on the menu don't exist. This means if you have to ask the price, you're in the wrong restaurant! Example: One grilled quesadilla with rice: $18.99. Medium house margaritas with little or no tequila was $10. I went to El Patron yesterday with a friend who treated me and the food wasn't bad. The service on-the-other-hand wasn't great. The waitress, an older Hispanic-looking woman with dark circles around her eyes, acted weird. The waitress had this attitude as if she didn't want to be there.
