“I ordered here tonight for the first time ever and I ordered just a cheeseburger ?. I must say out of all the places in Blacksburg they have the best burgers I've ate yet. I will be coming back to try out their other foods they offer. A rate a 5 star and two thumbs ”

“Hands down one of the best fish camps I've ate at in quite some time. I'll definitely be bringing my family back again!Parking: There is limited parking out front, but there is a parking lot directly across the street for overflow parking.Kid-friendliness: It's an all-around family restaurant with the family owned atmosphere.”

“This is a review that I feel that I have to explain a little bit more of why I rated it the way that I did..First off the positive!The food is absolutely amazing!And that is the biggest reason that I go here I’m giving this a four star rating.The food was not so good. I would definitely downgrade it to a three star and I gave a lot of thought to this before I wrote this review.As a small business owner myself always very careful when there is strong, compensating factors in what I experienced.So food is amazing but here is my issue.Their lunch specials I believe and at 4 o’clock.I look for value, especially around this time of the day. As a small business owner, one of the things I like to do is treat the people who bust their butt for me to a nice meal for lunch.I look for places that have good value, reasonable portions, quick turnaround & good food!About a week and a half ago I walked in the door at 3:57 PMI literally looked at my phone before I ordered as I had to wait on another one of their patrons.It was 3:59 when she took my order! I was in that door at 3:57, I just made it!I started off by ordering one of the lunch specials.I immediately was with what was unquestionably a very aggressive answer “ lunch specials are over, no more”I was taken away by this!I know that it was very close to the cut off time.But I was in that door, ready to order according to the advertised specials.I have done business with this place well over 100 times in the past couple of years.Whether they recognized me or not, it just hit that button with me that I was like “are you serious“It was also the way that she said it.Abnormally aggressive, snappy and just plain and simple inappropriate!There may, or may not be some cultural differences. In quite frankly, I don’t care!If that was their policy, and she just simply said something along the lines of “ my system will not let me enter this price. It’s after 4 o’clock” I wouldn’t have been so initially triggered.And I had six men that were looking forward to that food very much.I asked one more time “ma’am, I was in the door three minutes, waited and showed her my phone that’s the time was still 3:59 PM.She acted very upset that I was even asking for it!It wasn’t cool!After trying to rationalize with her, I’m pointing out the time that was not yet 4 o’clock when she was looking at my phone it turned 4 o’clock and she said “it’s 4 o’clock, special over”.I’m still not OK with this, and that is why I’m writing this review.I also want to put out there if this restaurant contacts me, acknowledges, my extremely honest review and reassure me with confidence that it’ll be addressed. Then I will give extremely strong consideration to changing this review to a five star review.This really bothered me!I don’t care if they recognize that I was or not. They shouldn’t never, ever approach situation, like this, with any type of aggression, no matter where, in the world you’re from, or no matter what mood you may, or may not be in!It’s just not in general, a good thing to do especially with that type of energy behind it!So I’ve been tossed and turned on what I felt comfortable & what was the right thing to say with what I’m communicating to anybody that may be reading this.Here’s the caveat.When I turned to walk away with this look disbelief, not exactly, knowing how to handle the situation & wondering where in the heck I was going to find another Chinese restaurant anywhere close to Blacksburg, South Carolina is where this whole situation really hit me!There’s no competition!Competition keeps everybody very sharp, on point, and always keeping in the back of your head. This little voice that tells you “if we don’t deliver this place a few blocks over will take our business.There’s no competition anywhere close to this location within reason, especially if you’re looking for something quick that exists.Maybe I’m wrong joy Walk, but please consider what I’m saying! “Tucked away in a campground we found this unexpected treat! A wine & coffee bar attached to a delicious pizza joint, we had a very cozy dinner with local wine. The staff were very friendly as well. Highly recommend!”

“Dunkin is located in the Pilot Truck Stop. You can purchase Dunkin or Pilot coffee, iced coffee, iced tea and other drinks. The Pilot also has various items of food, hot or cold. There is also a Taco Bell and Wendy's inside. It's a great place for truck drivers and people who are traveling. Gas at this time is 3.39 per gallon. Handicapped parking is available. The staff are very friendly extending their southern hospitality and they are very helpful.”

“This an uptick on the rating scale for fish camps around the Blacksburg and Gaffney, S.C. area. This one is way above average! People travel from Charlotte, N.C. to try this place! This is a hidden gem! They offer my favorite; fried clam strips! To the best of my knowledge it's the only fish camp that offers this treat within a twenty mile radius! This place is nicely decorated and offers a diverse menu! The staff a is friendly and knowledgeable and will gladly make recommendations to you!”

“I do so much like this travel center! Buying gas here is usually competitive with other places in town. But after using their Pilot Rewards Card ten cents per. gallon is automatically subtracted. And there is no limit on the amount purchased! You can bring multiple vehicles here in the same day ; it doesn't matter! What a deal! The store itself is stocked well! I see no shortages here on anything! The coffee is super and my favorite place locally to get a hot cup to go.Try their intense energy coffee! Smooth with a mule kick that will make you want to cut your grass with a push lawn mower! The place is clean and the personnel are friendly and helpful! This is my to go to place for gas and coffee! I highly recommend this particular travel center!”

“I'm thankful for Jamie Ham, the owner.We've been used to having a community store for years.Located at Cashion's Crossroads, it's convenient for everyone in the area.The store is continually stocked with fresh goods, anything from items such as pickled eggs to hunting and fishing needs.Ham's Grocery also accepts payments to Broad River Electric Cooperative.Someone mentioned having to pay a dollar for credit card use... Most small businesses like Family Dollar and Dollar General charge at least $1.It's very costly to offer credit card service.The owner has to pay it.It's a convenience store. I know it's been very helpful in many ways.In addition to the store, Ham's has gasoline for sale and a full Cafe for meals to go.The food is cooked to order and is very clean.The employees are always friendly and helpful!Thanks Jamie and Summer!Lori Batchler”

“Friendly staff, food was delicious .Parking: There is wheelchair ramp, however after entering bldg, had to go up 2 steps for dinning room. Bathrooms are no handicap accessible .”

“The management has some effective standards and practices ... the evidence is that this group has coordinated strategies that made the experience pleasant. Quality service , Quality food, and the dining area was very clean.Vegetarian options: Fresh salads were a mighty tempting choice . The veggies looked pristine and there are baked potatoes on the menu which is a good choice too.Dietary restrictions: Well clearly the chicken could be grilled; as well as there were fruit some were in cups. There was grain cereal or oatmeal. So ample options for anyone's appetite.Parking: The spacious lot would be hard pressed to fill this place with park but it gets close .Kid-friendliness: The entire atmosphere was cognitive of the children and everything went off like a play.Wheelchair accessibility: There were 3 different sets of doors that led inside and they were welcoming to handicap and all alike .”

“Was going to get a sub but after seeing the food station look messy food dtoppings, smudged condiments, I thought, this is not me. However, I had a bag of their "Love" branded kettle cooked plain chips, which I drove away regretting we didnt get 2 bags. Lastly, Did yall know they have shower bays? Not really sure where they are situated but somewhere away from all the food. I was definitely blown away and fasinated by the practical concept-considering its a trucking rest stop. Apparently, you take a ticket and they call your number when your shower bay is ready. Brilliant design concept! A+ for the designer because thats what we do...enhance lives!”

“I am a huge fan of locally owned hole in the wall places. That's why I refuse to give this anything less than 5 stars. But these weren't the best donuts I've ever had. Don't get me wrong, they were good! The chocolate frosted log with cream was a just a bit stale. And the sugar coated donut was delicious. My wife's cinnamon crumble was good too. The place feels a little dirty and run down but that's ok with me. All of this at a super affordable price and great customer service. My husband and I chose lemon cake with white buttercream icing, and our guests loved it. I will be using her for our future special occasion cakes and highly recommend her.”

“First time there yesterday. I ordered the mushroom, bacon, Swiss burgers with onion rings. I never eat everything I order unless it’s extremely good. The burger was AMAZING. The meat had a great taste & the onion rings were perfect. I’m very picky when it comes to burgers & they are the best I’ve found in this area❤️”
