“My friends and I dined in at Truffles and loved every minute of it. The service was great (thanks Abby) and the atmosphere was cozy and elegant. We thoroughly enjoyed our food. We had a pasta dish and the cod meal. So good! We shared the blondie and it sealed the deal. We will be back!“
“Nice vibe and great service. We did the four course tasting menu with pairings. A couple of the pairing were good, one very good and another great. Interesting tasting menu. A pair of the regular menu items is served for each course so the variety is great. The chicken and dumplings were awesome. The slow cooked beef on the other hand was a complete miss, being texturally stringy and flavors not balanced. The fried potatoes that came out with the beef course were very good. Flounder crudo and shaved Brussels Sprout salad were both strong. The Carolina Gold rice porridge was very tasty. The hand pie and brown butter cake were excellent. The added on cornbread was the best I've ever had. Without the beef experience this would be a five star review considering its class and style.“
“The River House is a luxurious and beautiful venue with Lowcountry charm - wonderful ambiance! We enjoyed four fabulous courses, beginning with the Hamachi, and the Yellowfin Tuna Duo, on to the Lobster Bisque and Wedge Salad, and on to the Rainbow Trout and the A5 Wagyu. We finished up with the C4 (essentially, Death by Chocolate). It was all excellent. I particularly enjoyed the Wagyu, which, while only 2 ounces, was a taste sensation with its Yakiniku sauce. We completed the evening with a nightcap in the Hush Speakeasy in the basement. We had a wonderful evening and will soon return!“
“I grew up in Minnesota, moved to Kentucky for 23 years and found out what a joy biscuits and sausage gravy are for breakfast. I have been in Pennsylvania for 20 years and really missed a good southern breakfast. Went here for the first time even though I have coming down to HHI for 40 years. I cannot express enough the joy of our breakfast at Squat & Gobble. EVERYTHING was delicious. These guys know how to cook. Best country fried steak, sausage gravy, and the lightest fluffiest biscuit I have ever had. Service was phenomenal! Quick and everyone so nice. Anybody in the area has to take this in. You guys are the greatest.“
“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐Craft Kitchen in Bluffton, SC, is an absolute gem! My recent dining experience at this establishment was nothing short of exceptional. The food, service, and overall atmosphere truly exceeded all expectations. The low country Cuban I ordered was absolutely amazing, and the fired pickles added a delightful twist to this classic dish. Meanwhile, my wife thoroughly enjoyed the kale salad, which was beautifully complemented by the addition of candied walnuts and her favorite havarty cheese. The flavors and textures were simply outstanding and left us craving for more.In addition to the incredible food, the craft beer selection at Craft Kitchen is truly impressive. I had the pleasure of washing down my meal with their unique peanut butter beer, and I was also fortunate enough to sample their Christmas stout, which was out of this world. The staff's knowledge and enthusiasm for their craft beer selection added an extra layer of enjoyment to our dining experience. The service was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable, adding to the overall positive experience. Craft Kitchen truly stands out as one of the best gastro pubs I've visited recently. If you're looking for great food, an exceptional craft beer selection, and top-notch service, look no further than Craft Kitchen in Bluffton, SC.“
“We stopped here just passing through. All the food tasted great. Prompt service food came out in timely manner. Service was unbelievable we have not had service like this in a very long time, best in couple years.Server knew the menu very well described everything and helped make suggestions.Other servers also very knowledgeable, explaining to her table how things worked, if anyone had any allergies. Manager also very attentive, asked us at least three times how things were. I am huge iced tea drinker and my glass never stayed empty. This is something I look for as to how service is. Being at the table making sure we are good and making everything a pleasant experience. 5 stars ? we will definitely be back when in the area.“
“The Canoe Club has a very creative seasonal menu featuring many fresh fares from the local seafood selection. The roasted oyster appetizer was particularly good, as was the black grouper. The desert menu was limited, and some of the food was overly creative to its own detriment, where it looked amazing, but the flavor didn't match the visual appeal.Vegetarian options: Entire vegan dishes offered that were creative and delicious ?Kid-friendliness: Kids menu availableParking: Easy access adjacent to the venue for golf carts and vehicles curbside and an open lot across the street.“
“This is two reviews -- breakfast and dinner. First, to truly appreciate the atmosphere and vibe of this place -- go for breakfast. I got the southern breakfast, and the eggs were perfect, bacon was delicious, and that big chunk of biscuit was spot on. Our server made me a killer vanilla latte. My wife's biscuits and gravy were very good. For dinner, we both got chicken tenders and fried shrimp, with fry chips. Unbelievable. Best chicken tenders I've ever had. Whole meal was scrumptious.I got a flight of their own beers -- pretty good.At dinner time, that place is LOUD. When the screamers got their meals, it quieted down a bit. And hey -- get rid of those fake lemon trees...“
“I have a condition that doesn't digest certain foods properly. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich without bread (I'm unable to digest wheat). The server did an extraordinary job making sure the chicken was prepared properly. Due to the sides also incompatible with my digestive system, she made the lettuce, tomato, and cheese normally on the chicken, a delightful salad with a dressing I could eat.The service was wonderful as well as the meal.“
“We went to a family lunch to celebrate the birthday of my sister-in-law. Since we are originally from Buffalo, you can imagine how much we enjoy R Bar. There are all the foods we are accustomed to from our hometown. There was a very pleasant and courteous waiter at our table. In spite of the fact that he entered all of our orders correctly, there was a little mishap in the kitchen between mine and my sister-in-law's sandwich. We swapped what we could between her order and mine so they would not have to remake my sandwich and she would simply need a new one. Upon explaining what we had done, a lady in a Pittsburgh Penguins shirt emerged from the back abruptly asking in a rude tone, "tell me what is wrong with this sandwich". She replied, "Well it's already half eaten," while she touched with her bare naked hands, expecting my pregnant sister-in-law to take it back. Please note that it was not half eaten, I still had the other part on my plate, and she indicated that she required it back in order to prepare a completely new sandwich. In an effort to appease such a miserable soul, I politely returned the half of chicken finger to her. As a result of our further discussion, she took her poor attitude back to the kitchen and remade the sandwich. As a result of this lady's poor attitude regarding an issue her kitchen staff had created, we were all very uncomfortable. It would be prudent for her to consider other careers if a messed up sandwich has the potential to make her that angry.“
“Best pulled pork sandwiches ever! The fries and cole slaw were great side choices too! Service is top notch, very attentive! Love this restaurant and will definitely be back frequently!Make sure you try the honey jalapeño cornbread to start and save room for their banana pudding! ?“
“First impressions of First Watch are lasting positive impressions. We were in a layover at the airport and decided to meet family for a quick late brunch. We Uber(ed) over from the airport to meet family who also used Uber. Greeted at entrance where hostesses offered to store our bags until we would depart. Loved this. Seated in an open area with a view of the preparation area, many diners enjoying the atmosphere and flights (the process of sampling/tasting wines). Wait staff was patient and attentive as we caught up with family member stories. Wine servings were pricey but refreshing. Nice menu selections that were tasty and original. The restaurant clients were clearly having a great time at the this venue. Before we headed back to the airport we moved to the rooftop for an exhilarating view of Nashville and we’re not disappointed. First Watch is a check it out spot you won’t want to pass up!“
“Sunday my daughter took me there before church. What an amazing place. Fantastic food and Omar the owner works with his staff and cranks out the quality best food quickly. Prices are very fair.Great job !Roy M. ( Banana’s)Hobe Sound FL.Parking: Good parking“
“food is good. you can get breakfast or lunch. you order at the counter and they bring your food to the table.there is a fridge of half and half which you may not see. it is by the soda machine. they have all different coffee cups to choose from. or you can use a to go cup.the food is reasonably priced. they also offer a special. some items you can get a 1/2 order which is great if you are not a big eater. they have outside seating.“
“I've eaten here many times and it's always great. Last night I ordered the ribeye. I like my steak rare and it was RARE. I couldn't finish it due to the size not the temperature. I just ate the leftovers for lunch and I swear... It was one of the best steaks I've ever eaten. He must be buying high quality meats. The steak was better than anything I can buy at the butcher but I didn't have to cook it and it came with bread, salad and fries for $30. Get outta here. The drinks were great and the bartender was very nice. And nice looking. The owner came over and asked me if everything was good. On a Sunday night he was working quality control.... I highly recommend.“
“Great spot for a romantic evening for two or a special occasion with friends. Looks our on the water in Palmetto Bluff and has stunning views. Great ambiance inside, made to feel like the luxurious inside of a canoe (hence the name). Came here with another couple and were seated out on the patio to watch the waterway and enjoy the great weather. Our server was amazing and has been with the restaurant for several years, and had a great understanding of the menu/specials/drinks/wine pairings. The dinner was expertly paced and everything was great. Only got pictures of our sushi appetizer but everything was perfect. Menu changes with the seasons/ chef interest so it is different but we got the red snapper, lambs chop, wagyu steak, oysters, and the sushi. No one had any complaints and we were not rushed when we finished our meals and stayed for another drink. Great experience for fine dining.“
“Prime Ribeye steak lived up to the hype! The Manager Doug made a wine pairing suggestion of the Syriah and explained why it worked well and what to look for. That really elevated the experience. Our server was professional, food was delicious, and the ambiance was relaxed and easy. The dark ceilings make for a cozy feeling and acoustically the restaurant was very quiet from sound absorbing materials. Sometimes I have a hard time conversating if the cafe is too loud. My wife and I shared easy conversation and it was a wonderful overall Valentine’s Day dinner. Highly recommend.“
“This brewery was amazing! I 100 percent loved the atmosphere and the staff! The beer was so cool and refreshing. I ended up getting the pretzel which was HUGE! I loved every bite! Highly recommend this brewery I can't wait to come back.“
“Backwater Bill's is consistently excellent. It's impossible to make a bad decision, but my favorites are the crab soup, wedge salad, and prime burger or black and blue chicken sandwich. Chef Andy is one of Hampton Lake's many treasures. The special theme nights are always fantastic, and he is always out on the floor, just to make sure it is. Excellent food, service, and prices.Wheelchair accessibility: ADA accessible, easy drop off and convenient parking.Dietary restrictions: These folks will accommodate whatever you need.“
“Fabulous food, fabulous atmosphere, you can’t go wrong with Katie O’Donald’s! I had the special of Stuffed Halibut with vegetables and mashed potatoes and it was fantastic! Also, the fish and chips are the Best I’ve ever had! Highly recommend!“
“I like a good Reuben sandwich and where I live, it's hard to find a good one, but if you get the Reuben from Butchers Market and Deli, you will get a great one. It had all the elements that make for a great Reuben: a generous portion of thinly sliced corned beef, mild sour kraut, just the right amount of thousand island dressing, and perfectly grilled rye bread. I wish I didn't live 10 hours away, but if I ever get within an hour's drive, I'll take the detour to experience it again. It will be worth the drive!“
“4.5 rating. Open to the public. We were worried it was members only. Dress code was relaxed / casual. Friendly service. Great food. Mostly reasonable prices. Clean restaurant and nice restrooms. Coke products as well as bar. Some Gluten free GF options. Dessert available too. Plenty of free parking.Dietary restrictions: Some gluten free GF options.Parking: Plenty of free parkingKid-friendliness: Most folks were adults but I imagine children are welcome though maybe not many food choices.“
“We have been to this region many times. We always come to the Blutton Seafood House at least once. There's a wide selection of choices on the menu from fish to seafood, appetizers, sides, oysters, and killer hush puppies. Steamed, broiled, baked, fried, you pick. Corvina is my favorite fish, but they also carry fresh catch of the day. Our first encounter was through Bluffton Oyster Company fish monger outlet. They suggested we try the restaurant and it's a favorite of ours. Shrimp, cobra, oysters, corvina, Reds, and more. Check the chalkboard on the way in for choices of fresh caught.“
“We stayed at the Montage and came here for the first time. It's part of the Palmetto Bluff community = quiet luxury, just really well done. But the food really punched above its weight. Amazing ceviche tostada and my husband loved his pulled pork sammie and brussel sprout salad. Just delicious, fresh food with great service by our server Autumn.“
“I live in Sun City so I find this place convenient and affordable for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The renovations last year are nice but I do miss the old bar with the original architectural renderings, golf balls, etc. I'm a 'foodie' so I don't come here when I want the fish fresh caught today or something exotic. But when I'm hungry and craving a BLT, soup, salad, eggplant parmesan or potato skins, they deliver every time. They never disappoint!I love the bartenders too. If you're lucky Chrystal will serve you best.“
“Had a great evening for my husband's Birthday. The food was excellent. I had my favorite, the Crispy Duck. My husband and brother in law had fish special entrees . The prices are fair, the staff very efficient. From appetizers to dessert everything was delicious ?“
“After a long day heading back from MUSC in Charleston my wife and I were craving some steakhouse food. Living on Hilton Head there are not many options.Longhorn Bluffton never disappoints. My wife said her ribeye was one of the best she's had in years and it was cooked PERFECTLY. I always get the chop steak and it was soo-soo good! The salads they give are so big, fresh and delicious!I'm a detail guy and I notice the little things. I was watching an owner running food and asking patrons how everything was.I NEVER see that anymore. Nuff said.“
“The burger and fries are a safe option, but you'll find a wide variety of other choices that are a lot more interesting and unique.I was looking forward to the seafood pot pie, but it is not longer on the menu. The website does not have recent information available.“
“Three roaming golfers from WV had a great experience on the Island West Golf Course on 1/22/2024. Course is in winter conditions but conditions are overall good. Sand traps were very well maintained. The Pro Shop Attendant and Cart Attendant were very kind and accommodating and made us feel very welcome. The way we are treated means the most to us and we give these 2 gentlemen the highest rating. Thank you.A local resident (Steve) played with us and kindly shared his wealth of helpful golf knowledge. It was like having a personal golf instructor and Steve knew what he was talking about and could hit the ball extremely well. There is nothing more we could have asked for or expected. It was a good day.RKK“
“Service was excellent, food was great and then not so. Noticed when we arrived 8 to 10 cooked baskets of homemade chips sitting in the counter and as expected when our food arrived with the chips they were cold. Special stirfry was tasty, rice was hot , stirfry/chicken lukewarm. BLT was excellent, sourdough toasted perfectly, Burger was cooked as asked and the side of frys were nice and hot.“
“Some of the best fish, seafood and desserts I’ve had. The staff treats you like family and the atmosphere is welcoming and unpretentious. Passion for quality food and service is their priority. Places like this are few and far between. Go check it out!“
“This place was SO busy when we were there. It was about 9am and there was a line out the door. We waited probably 14 minutes before we could order. However they made our order quickly and it was yummy! We liked the garlic bagel the best. The lady behind the register was really lind as well and very positive and seemed happy to be doing her job.“
“I have been here many times. They have a lot of beers on tap. I order their bruchetta and love it! Its nice to have a Grill with different kinds of food. The staff are pleasent. And the owner is always around to say hello. Its also a good place to bring your kids when you cant get a sitter.“
“This was our first time at the Bluffton Room and we went to celebrate our anniversary. We had a wonderful experience with our server Dayna who made our evening very special. We will be sure to come back to the Bluffton Room for other celebrations and to enjoy the food!“
