“Have been here a couple of times - great food and some different items on the menu. They don't have combination plates on Friday or Saturday but overall happy with choices. Wait staff tries to work together but a little longer wait then most places for food. Atmosphere is OK.“
“Small restaurant but very comfortable. My husband eats Mexican food since I love it. I had the shrimp burrito and the sauces came on the side. He ordered the pork chop with rice, salad, beans and served over plantains. We also had guacamole. All was wonderful...and affordable. Will go back for sure!“
“Very cool little permanent food truck next to a great hispanic market. I had three different tacos, my wife had a quesadilla, all were great. Lots of different hot sauces to choose from, and be careful, some are HOT! Just realize, they only give you the tortillas and meat at the indow on the left, you have to go to the window on the right to put all your toppings and sauces on. The market itself has a ton of stuff you won't find in a regular grocery store.“
“Delicious food and drinks! Great atmosphere and excellent service!Skinny margaritas are a real deal! Loaded nachos with house made chips were gobbled down in a few minutes! We got a variety of tacos and a chorizo burger. Everything was delicious! We were seated right away, apps and drinks came very fast, food followed pretty much right away. Lots of seating, super cute place! Definitely recommend it!“
“Inviting colorful atmosphere in booths, tables or the bar. Extensive fresh menu selection of Mexican food / meats, fish/ from different regions. Fresh ingredients , always, from cilantro , to shrimp, the salads to the Ceviche ( my favorite). Home made beans, I can tell. The dishes are uncommonly large, my husband will not differ from the Carne Asada still after two years enjoying this. The salsa always fresh accompanied by warm tortillas. Soups or caldos are unique like the abuelas. The service is courteous , kind and bilingual. It’s a must in Bluffton for locals and visitors. Great ambiance on the weekend with their live musician, who repertoire expands from mariachi, bolero to Sinatra. The flan is incredible if you are into desserts. Prices are affordable. A well kept secret, their tequenos are oven baked and the melted cheese incredible. Their background music is most of the time enjoyable. This place becomes the special place to meet old friends, coworkers and celebrate special family occasions.“
“This store is great! If you like sweet, well-baked and original pastries and breads, you won't know where to start choosing, they have a fantastic variety. Also fresh bread, where right there, they will prepare your sandwich. Coffee and ice cream.Just delicious.“
“Amazing amazing amazing Authentic Mexican restaurant! The food was sooooo tasty. I had a chimichanga and my husband had the fish tacos. The cook even made him two fish and one shrimp to add variety. Quantity was great as well as reasonable prices. The staff were kind and very professional. The restaurant was clean and had a great atmosphere.“
“We visited this restaurant while in Bluffton, South Carolina. Our server was Sara Valen and she could not have been nicer, prompt, and more friendly. My wife and I both had the (GF) steak and chicken fajitas, which came out sizzling and were quite tasty. Really nice atmosphere.“
“The quality of the food was excellent! The Special Happy Hour margaritas Excellent! I would rather have Mexican/Latin music than American, but that might just be me.There were 4 of us and for some reason my wife's chivice came out 10 min later? By that time after picking off my plate she wasn't hungry and ended up taking it home. Otherwise everything was really good, freash with great service.“
“What I enjoyed the most here was the dessert. At our table we had Mexican quesadillas for kids & some just cheese quesadillas with rice and beans. The beans had good flavor but the rice was a little dry due to reheating. My order of sopes came well prepared but the dough lacked salt or something that had no flavor. The same thing happened with the green sauce, it needed salt. Here we can debate this point because they will say that we all have different palates but the truth is that we lacked or loved the dishes The pambazo is small following the same model as the sope but it still lacked seasoning. We also got 2 rajas quesadillas & my mom was delighted with her food. ? The quesadilla tortillas were handmade & the cheese complemented them. The hibiscus & tamarind water were of good taste & well proportioned. For dessert, neither the flan nor the churros (which were over-fried) could be missed. In terms of tastes, palates were broken so don't believe me and come try it and I'm sure you'll find something to your liking! The waitress was busy so the service was so-so but we still gave her the suggested tip.At the time of paying, they don't even greet you, much less expect to be asked how the food was. Forget about asking for your receipt because the disagreement was evident.Oh I'm very demanding or the service is mediocre.Good luck ?“
“Well, first time here. I was looking for tamales to take to work for breakfast but could not find them. This place is actually better some other local Mexican grocery places in Bluffton. I toured around because I was interested in what they had and you will find some imported items that will not not find at Publix and Kroger. New pleasant discovery for me.“
“This food was delicious. We were headed elsewhere but turned around and I'm so glad we did. I got a mix of chorizo and asada (campechanos) quesadilla, asada tacos with this DELICIOUS slaw (spicy carrots ?), my boyfriend got a burrito that he wouldn't give me any of, and we split a horchata while we waited for our food. We will be back this coming weekend!!“
“my taquitos were good. I always get the add on on the side. that way my taquitos stay hot longer. we took a friend she ordered beef tacos. she felt they were a littletacos. she added some salt.I personally have never had the taco's.they have a nice salsa bar to go with the chips you receive with your order.“
