Still here waiting for my food after well over an hour. I might be trapped here until the end of time who even knows. At least this trap of a restaurant is closing for good tomorrow, I felt bad when they told me that but now it makes sense.Update: Finally got my food but it is not remotely worth $20. I could've made a can of ravioli at home, froze it and then reheated it and that would taste better that this.

My husband and I double dated with my grandparents for Valentine's Day dinner and all of us loved it all! We each ordered something different for meals and shared a couple of appetizers- none of us disappointed with our choices! We tried the canolies for dessert and it was the perfect finish to our meal! The atmosphere was cozy and quiet enough for us to catch up and enjoy each other's company.

Everything was wonderful from start to finish! A quiet weekday evening, we went for my husband's birthday. Fresh bread with olive oil was a great start while we looked over the menu. We started with the mussels, which were in a delicious buttery, umami broth. I had the gnocchi, which was way better than someone else described below. Not fishy or soupy whatsoever. Fresh pasta, tasty shrimp, and a hint of heat in the tomato sauce. My husband had the swordfish. He's fairly picky as he's a chef, and he loved his dish. The fish was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the risotto was spot on. The food was all presented well, too, which is a big deal to us. I had a ravioli dish at another Italian restaurant that looked like mush, so I appreciate when food is plated properly, especially when you're paying good money for it. Great wine selections and attentive, kind service topped off with a birthday treat. Well worth the drive into town, as we live out in the country.

Overpriced and food was awful. The pasta sauce and pasta tasted store bought. Wished we just cooked our own pasta at home with Ragu, would have been better off. Waitress was okay

I went to Al Di la last night for the first time in about two years. We were a party of 4 and all of us have been there several times over the years. I had heard it was under new management so we were not sure what to expect.Well we were all very disappointed. The menu has completely changed and was a lot smaller. The appetizers were good but all 4 main courses were truly awful for an authentic Italian restaurant. We unfortunately will not be going back. The place was also dead for a Saturday night but it was very bad weather out. We all walked out of there questioning whether or not this restaurant would be staying open. I will say that our server was nice as was the other staff we encountered.

A night to remember!! From the moment I walked into this quaint and inviting restaurant, a warm welcome was on everyone’s face. The atmosphere was perfectly lit for an absolutely DELICIOUS meal! Bob, Al Di La’s owner was so accommodating and friendly from the initial reservation request to the complimentary out of this world tiramisu!!!!!! Al Di La hostess Cymone brought her beautiful smile to the table every so often to say hello and Brandon was so attentive, sweet and kind as he served our table. Enjoyable is an understatement! I cannot wait to return!!! Thank you ALL for making a rare night out so delightful!!! With lots of love, Ashley

We came here and there was 1 server and 1 cook. We were patient and didn't mind however after 2 hours of waiting We finally got our food. It was not great. I typically give people the benefit of the doubt with staffing issues however the food was just not good. The muscles had no garlic just butter, the pizza dough didn't work so she was unable to bring it to us??? We got bolognese which was not good and other food as well. We all left wanting more food but not from here.

We were expecting a bit more, with the beautiful decor and "handmade pasta". Our server, which I don't know if she was an actual server or not, was not properly trained, though sweet. The food was ehh, the Cacio e Pepe was horrendous. There was 0 management present, unless they were also serving as they are understaffed.

Went on Saturday night ordered for four the menu was abreveated but had enough variety of items to choose from . Chicken Parmesan with noodles were good , Ricotta Gonnosh with noodles and Basil nothing special, sides of meatballs too spicy for the older adults that ordered them . We asked about recommend Wine server had no que . I understand the lack of experiencned workers so picked on our own. Time from order to serve was about one hour food again nothing special .

It's been a long time since I've had a bad experience at a restaurant. Let me start by saying, our waitress was wonderful and so kind. Now, the menu is small. On a Friday night, with a small menu, you expect everything to be there. The menu online is not what we were given. They had a brick oven with no pizza options. They were out of MEATBALLS, the meat for the cheese board (after confirming they had all the components), two of the five mixed drinks, and they ran out of bread. All before 9 on a Friday night! We waited over an hour for our entrees in a half full restaurant (maybe less). I ordered mussels to be delivered with the rest of the main food and it came out within 5 minutes and we spent the rest of the time just waiting. I'm disappointed because I was so excited to try this place. When the food did come out, it was so lackluster and one order was wrong so they rushed to make it right and we didn't understand if they could do that, why did our food take so long. Attached is a picture of one of the meals, which you can see, doesn't look like a meal work almost $30. The restaurant did comp our meals and we left without eating. We walked across the street to the char bar and had some great food and service. Unfortunately, I won't be back until they make some big changes. Unbeknownst to us, management has recently changed, apparently not for the better.

Went on a saturday at 7pm. Not very crowded but there was a party of 8 teenagers which seemed to slow service down to a crawl. The staff did their best but there was a somewhat long wait between appetizers and entrees. One large group should not overwhelm the kitchen.I got the chicken parm which was good and my fiance got the swordfish which was a tiny portion for what it cost. Al Di La used to be alot better for the price

I can say the best part of my time here was the service. Everyone was very friendly, and accommodating. The food was not good. The gnocchi marinara sauce tasted like watery ragu. The pasta had shrimp, but the entire pasta tasted like a fishy tomato soup. I did not eat it. The broccoli was ok. The vinaigrette was a little salty. I did like the focaccia bread, however it was very cold.

I am so disappointed, this used to be a favorite place. First they took off some of the items off the menu that they did so well, like pizza and salad. Secondly the pasta dish we got was over cooked. I hope they are able to find their way back to great food

After reading the reviews and looking at photos I was excited to try this cozy “authentic” Italian restaurant. It also seemed to have a great price point but it turns out you get what you pay for. Upon walking in we considered leaving because it smelled like mold, but after driving 25 minutes here we wanted to give it a try. The cacio e pepe was more of an Alfredo, not authentic at all and drowning in sauce. I am obsessed with pasta and I did not even eat half of it… My mom got the bolognese and it was actually pretty good, it was very spicy which we love, however it does not specify that in the description so beware if you don’t like spicy foods.

Food and service definitely not worth the price anymore.
