We sat at the bar. Took some time to be served a drink, but once we had the bartender's attention, the rest was great! We ordered 2 dozen raw oysters at Happy Hour price, a great value. Very fresh & served with 3 different sauces, as well as a bottle of yummy local hot sauce. Lovely place, very popular. All ages were welcome.

“Uncle Mikey” made our entire day! The best service and food I have ever received! I would just come back to see our favorite waiter Michael. Thanks for the smiles and good times. We were disappointed to not get the shrimp roll but he surprised us with one!

The food was amazing, was very busy but did not take a very long time for food to come out. I got the surf and turf with the she crab soup and both were outstandingly good. Our server was amazing outside seating is small and lots of people will pass you but was still an amazing experience.

Comfortable restaurant with good seafood options. Oysters on the half shell very good. Ice cold and served with all sauces Calamari app different but a nice shared app for the table. Shrimp & grits good, seafood platter was plentiful. Grilled salmon salads also well made. Plenty of wine choices @ $40 per bottle. Our server was top notch.Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

Food was outstanding. Best fish/seafood in Chrleston. Selection of raw oysters incredible. Our server, Josh, was the absolute best. If you don't include Amen Street Fish + Raw Bar on your restaurant list you are missing the best.

We both had the shrimp roll which was excellent. All of the food that walked past us also looked very good. Charleston has a lot of great food options and this place certainly is right up there.

This was a fun and beautiful restaurant. Went off hours so my experience was a little different. Had a lovely green salad with rare tuna. Minor complaint that the tuna was not as fresh as it should be and lacked flavor. Friend had the same with the crab cake. Expensive for the size of the crab cake but expect that’s more inflation than anything. Drinks were great.

I am forever in search of the perfect calamari. I have never yet found it. Never found it that is until today. Best calamari on the planet. If you would like your ordinary calamari, go someplace else this is the best. The service was extraordinary. Jacob is phenomenal, and he knows his position well. Everything else in the place was as it should be from boiler room to bathroom. Yes, I'm raving about this place and you will do.

The food is absolutely fantastic at this establishment. The menu is small, but mighty. The fish is fresh, and every flavor is amazing.. the salmon dish was absolutely fantastic. The only downside is we had a very rude waitress. She wouldn’t give any recommendations and she rarely checked on us but other than that will definitely be back. The place is clean very warm and inviting if you’d like this review, follow me on Instagram @holycityfitblonde

We found Amen as we walked to the riverfront and decided to have a quick meal there because it wasn't crowded. They placed us in the far back, and after waiting for some time, we chose to sit at the bar. The bartender ignored us until Leonard, the oyster shucker, asked if we wanted to order oysters, and I ordered a dozen. Eventually, we managed to get the bartender's attention so the rest of my family could order. My husband had to cajole him to get the bartender to speak with us. We ordered a fish sandwich and sweet spicy shrimp, both of which were delicious. The oysters Leonard provided were fantastic. Leonard made the experience enjoyable.

SO good! The restaurant is beautiful both rustic and modern with exposed brick, black leather booths and oyster chandeliers. All the employees that we interacted with were very hospitable. From the hostess to the gentleman shucking the oysters at the front bar and our waitress were helpful and kind. The She Crab soup was absolutely delicious. It’s so rich and well seasoned with a swirl of sherry on top *Chefs Kiss*The Hush puppies were on point with local honey on the side.Oysters were fresh with many local options. I would also recommend the mussels in a wonderful garlic tomato seasoned broth. Also enjoyed by our table was a shrimp roll and fried shrimp. Everything was excellent. What a meal!
