This was seriously one of the best burgers I've ever had. I felt like Remy from Ratatouille trying the cheese and the grape in combination for the first time. A-1 pickles, perfectly melted cheese, and sweet but classic onions makes this burger delectable.

food is bomb and the cook is hot as hell

This is the best burger you can get at a food truck in Charleston. Very consistent too!

Love blackout burger - right up to yesterday - evidently - rain disrupts their service - buy an umbrella to cover your generator

I've been following them on IG for a minute, and finally ran into them at container bar. Definitely worthy of "if they're near you, seek them out" status. Probably in my rotating top 5 best burgers in Charleston now. A double burger with a bag of chips is a hearty meal; eschewing the chips or dropping down to a single would be better for someone with a smaller appetite. The burger is pretty simple, but if you're someone who doesn't like either onions or pickles, get a double patty. Both toppings are pretty pungent but balance each other out. So if you leave one off you'll need the extra beef to offset it.

The best double cheeseburger I've EVER had. They told me when I ordered it that it would be and they didn't lie.

Caught them on James Island in their food truck. Absolutely outstanding burger. Frito pie was perfect as well. If you haven't tried them yet, find them on Instagram and track them down. Outstanding.

What a great place! Big sloppy burger, but perfectly balanced with pickles. You can get it in any size you want. The Frito Pie is nice and crunchy with chili, cheese and jalapeños for a kick. Potato salad is made whole small potatoes which is cool.

Definitely enjoyed my smash burger from here. I got the single paddy. The cheese was super melty and fantastic. I also enjoyed the sauce on top. I even enjoyed the pickles and I'm not a pickle person. It wasn't my favorite smash burger I've ever had, but it was very tasty. The prices were a little expensive for what you get. But with that being said, I'm very glad I tried this food truck!

A friend of ours had been raving about Black Out so we had to try! This is a food truck so you have to check Instagram for their schedule. Not sure why the Yelp page says it's closed. This was the best smash burger I've ever had. We caught them at Low Tide a few weeks ago. The double came out fast and was sizzling hot. After sitting for several agonizing minutes allowing it to cool, I could finally enjoy a bite. It did not disappoint. I'm not sure how a smash burger can end up anything but well done but somehow it still had a faint pink line in the very middle. The sauce and cheese and crispy edges of the burger left me wanting more after every bite. I was very full but could have stretched my stomach to keep eating. This weekend we caught them at Munkle and once again, they nailed it!

Look for black out burger when their in your area with a truck. This was our first time having it and we enjoyed every bite. So good. 10/10 best smash burger I’ve ever had.

If you haven’t tried Cam’s burgers, you’re doing yourself a disservice - and you definitely cannot claim you know a great burger till you’ve crushed one of these. Throw in the frito pie
