Sat down for a lovely little dinner with my pal, and boy was it swell! Service was extremely fast, and I really enjoyed my chicken sandwich w/ spicy mayo. There was a fun vibe to the place, with groovy upbeat music. Additionally, I commend them for their locally sourced, antibiotic free chicken. They also had 100% compostable products!
The hype is real… we heard good things. Just moved to West Ashley and gave it a shot. The Boxcar is lights out! Pickles are super vinegary which we like, but just be warned. The fries are amazing and the service was fast and friendly. Loved it!

You can never go wrong with this place. I had the not so waffle chicken sandwich. YUM. The bacon jam was a bit heavy, but other than that, divine. Also grabbed some fried pickles and green tomatoes. Neither were my fav but I love the crunch and crisp they get on them.Update: got the chicken nuggets today!! SO yum. Some of the best breaded chicken nuggets I've ever had.
