Loved this one. Good wàs very good, service, awesome! I had the spinach, bacon, and cheese omelet with grits. My only complaint would be the parking lot situation. Caution and patience is needed.

After waiting at least 30 minutes for our food, my spouse and I were served ONE pancake. There was no communication from our waitress on the whereabouts of the rest of our food or why the people next to us who came in AFTER us got their FULL meal before we did. When we asked, we were told some foods take longer than others. Here was a perfect chance to apologize for the wait. While I do understand some foods take longer than others to prepare, I don’t think it’s true or should be true for two orders of eggs and bacon…which is what we ordered in addition to the pancake. It should especially not be the case for a diner that serves only breakfast and lunch. There was no accountability, no apology….just bad service.

Great place to go if you love excellent diner food and big portions (which I do)! My son got three pancakes and they were each the size of the plate...he barely ate half - took the rest to go. The biscuits are scratch made and excellent. I also recommend the homemade sausage which is crispy on the outside and super flavorful. Our waitress was super busy, but she hustled well and did a fantastic job. Parking can be tricky, but we made it with a full size Transit van.

Tried the SCHNITZEL SANDWICH. Loved the gravy and mushrooms but there were not enough of either to cover the sandwich. The fried pork was a little overcooked. For my side, I ordered the Fried Green Tomatoes. They were plain, I would not recommend. On the bright side, the service was very friendly and quick. Our drinks never ran out.Put more mushrooms and gravy on sandwich and this place is 5-star!!!

I really love their hot honey chicken biscuit. The atmosphere is great with a nostalgic diner feel. Looks like they may have refurbished a little since the last time I ate there. Will definitely be going more often. The only complaint i have is parking. Hard to get in and out with limited spots so be early.

Busy on a Saturday morning! Got the country scramble. Super yummy!!!! Love the biscuits. Only wish they gave me more gravy. Fresh fruit is always a hit. Also got the scramble with the curry in it awhile back and it really hit the spot for a fresh breakfast. Will definitely be going back.

A staple of Charleston and arguably the greatest diner of all time... If only there was more parking.
