We love Edison and think it's a hidden secret on James Island. The vibe of the restaurant is wonderful, staff is attentive (Ariel was great) and the 1/2 priced Wine Wednesday seals the deal. Recently visited and enjoyed the Fig & Fromage, Bistro Steak Salad and Steak Frites. Appetizer was delicious and both steaks were cooked to perfection.
We found out about this great neighborhood gem when we were searching Resy for restaurant options for a trip to Charleston in mid-January. When we arrived for our reservation, we were greeted with a warm welcome by the owner and seated right away. Our server, Joshua, took great care of us throughout the evening. Great place, excellent food, reasonably priced, and fantastic service. It's an absolute gem on James Island worthy of downtown Charleston. Never had something I didn't like. From a fine Charcuterie board to an Italian BLT... steak to chicken and waffles. Lovely outdoor seating area and an elegant yet comfortable bar. It's definitely worth a visit.
