Place was dirty they were playing dance music loudly during dinner, and kitchen staff could be heard singing(badly) . Server looked like they just woke up. Food was mediocre at best, Seabass was dry as a bone and risotto was not risotto, but rice with some butter, onion soup was greasy and flavorless. The plates left stains on the table clothes because the bottoms were filthy.

My husband and I were walking by and said that we weren’t ready for dinner but would have a cocktail. We were enthusiastically welcomed- no wonder. The bill was $17 for a Tito’s vodka tonic and $21 for a Makers Mark manhattan!

Eli's Table ended up being a real highlight during my recent trip to Charleston. The restaurant has a cozy, inviting vibe that made for a relaxing evening out. Our server Raymond was friendly and attentive without being overbearing - he really enhanced the experience.But let's talk about that filet mignon. I'm usually not one to rave about a steak, but this was something truly special. Each bite was incredibly tender and bursting with rich flavors. I have no idea what they did to prepare it, but it was easily one of the best steaks I've ever had.I highly recommend Eli's table and would give it 10 stars if I could!

Eli's Table is one of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in Charleston. The food is delicious! I recommend the breakfast sandwich (bacon, egg & cheese on croissant) and the beignets. The sweet tea is exactly like it should taste in the South -- made perfectly sweet.Parking: Like most places in downtown Charleston, it's difficult to find parking, and almost impossible to find free parking. Best bet is to walk (when possible) or park in one of the downtown parking garages.

Sat at the bar - Billy is the BEST! Great atmosphere, fabulous food, amazing service. The bacin bloody Mary was the best I've ever had, the begniet melted in my mouth, and the crab soup was some of the best I've ever had. I'll certainly return!!
Waited 20 mins for menu & service. Finally got our order in & appetizers were cold! Then ordered our entrees & 10 minutes later told they are sold out. The reason I wanted to eat there was for this particular dish. All around really bad service & subpar food. I have been here numerous times before, but this was the last time. Staffing needs CHANGED'
Stumbled upon Eli’s Table by accident! By far best place we visited in Charleston! Get Jerod to make you the BEST Expresso Martini in Charleston, and Chef Corey will absolutely blow you away!!!

If you are looking for down to earth conversation, local dishes done right, and an atmosphere that truly checks the boxes of local Charleston Hospitality, that is Eli’s table. You’ve got to book a few chairs with Billy at the bar - he makes the best Bloody Mary’s in town & shares fantastic stories of his days on the road with country music’s greatest stars. The chef is truly an intrinsic virtuoso of his craft. The menu is a diverse selection of local flavor - try anything & stay for a while. 10/10 recommendVegetarian options: The menu can be easily assembled into a vegetarian dish. The rice risotto + asparagus from the Catch of the Day Entree was a highlight from our meal!

We came to Charleston for the 1st time to celebrate our 2/29 wedding anniversary. The hotel recommended Eli's Table for good food...and it was good! But for some reason we were given a table in the bar area. I wish I had asked for a table in the dining room! The staff hung aroud the bar laughing and talking to each other to the point it was a distraction and a man, who seemed to be the matre'de, was grabbing and wrestling with one of the male staff not to far from our table. I found this SO disturbing and inappropriate. I hope management speaks to their staff about this behavior.

Just want to give a special thanks to Corey . He made such a small gesture that went the long green mile. When I first called the restaurant, he answered and said, "Thanks for calling Eli's Table how can I make your day great?" I said, " I am about to ask a question and depending on your answer will determine if you will succeed." So then I told him, I wanted to pay for some food over the phone. He said due to fraud they couldn't, which I totally understand. I asked was there any kind of way because I made a reservation for my mom's (it's her birthday) and friend in my name and really wanted to pay for it over the phone. ( Of course, I could have easily cashapp my mom for the food. But it wouldn't have been personal and it wouldn't have felt as special). So Corey, said he could do it but I had to verify who I was and my card. We were able to make it happen over the phone.He later found my mom and friend in the restaurant and asked them do they know me and once they confirmed, he told them that their food was taken care of. But he didn't stop at that, he serviced them and went above and beyond to ensure my mom's comfort and enjoyment. He was attentive without being intrusive.My mom was extremely pleased with the ambiance, staff, food, and overall establishment. And most of all she was shocked I was able to take care of her bill from afar without sending her the money.Corey thank you so much for making that extra small comment on how to make my day great and then living up to doing so. Becuse not only did you make mine day great, you had an impact on making my mom's day special, enjoyable and memorable. It's the small things that makes a HUGE impact.Again, thank you so much Brother. You made us all feel like we were family with that gesture. ?
