I went here for the first time on a date night and it was everything I wanted. Atmosphere was cozy. Staff was super friendly. Food was perfect. I had the rotisserie chicken and my boyfriend had the shrimp. We had the baguette and butter as an appetizer. Everything was delicious. My family is French & I’ve been there a couple times to visit relatives. The food tasted just like the home cooked meals I had over there. I will be back with my family so they can try it too.

Rotisserie Chicken and profiteroles for me. Excellent. Highly recommend and friendly helpful staff to make you feel welcome and taken care of. The profiteroles were outstanding and by themselves worth the trip.

A date night for two, that's perfect for you. The food was amazing and the staff were so friendly. The chef made this amazing butternut squash butter that we spread over a warm loaf of bread. I had the special which was seafood spread with fish, scallops and shrimp. The flavors were so Devine and not fishy at all. My husband had the lamb and said they were one of the best he's had. It's a casual restaurant so dress up or dress down. You can't go wrong either way.

Was looking forward to eating here tonight. Ordered the fish special that was $38 came with fries & vegies. Very disappointed as this portion was very small for 1 person let alone 2. It came with a teeny crabcake, 2x2 pc of fish & 3 tiny shrimp, a kale leaf, pc of carrot, skinny pc of asparagus. Then we ordered a loaf of bread that was $14. They should consider increasing there portions. Not happy as Dinner for 2 meals was $117.

We all enjoyed our evening at Goulette Rotisserie & Grill! They were able to accommodate our large group of 11...and were very gracious when we needed to move our reservation 45min. later. Great wine selection, perfect cocktails, delicious appetizers. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their entrees- Superbe! Our server was spectacular! The owner spent some time talking with our group which made the evening! Will definitely come back next time we're in Charleston! C'etait tres bon! Mes compliments au chef!

Food was amazing, we started with Martinis and both were very cold and perfectly dirty, then had soup of the day, and main course was the Red Snapper and Lamb chops. Both perfectly seasoned and arrived hot. Wine selection is edited with most bottles under $100. A great value. We had a 2018 Margaux, which was absolutely heaven. The owner stopped by and was very engaging and truly cared about our experience. We look forward to our next visit. What a gem!

Goulette was close to our airbnb so we thought we would try it. We weren't disappointed! We tried the soups and they were delicious. Both my wife and I had the fish of the day. It was perfect! Our server was knowledgeable and very courteous. The fries were incredible!

My wife and I had dinner at Gaulette during a recent Charleston visit. We're staying on the west side of town, near the medical school, and happened by the restaurant while walking around the neighborhood. We ate at about 7:15 on a Tuesday evening and found the restaurant rather quiet at that hour. The single waitress was also serving as bartender, and seemed more than capable of handling both jobs. Her service was friendly, attentive and, surprisingly, unrushed. We started with a bowl of chicken soup, The soup was excellent, with large chunks of very good roasted chicken and a very tasty broth. My wife had a mixed seafood platter; I had flank steak. Both dishes were served with vegetables and duck fat fries. Everything was excellent; my one "complaint" might be that the fries were so rich, and the servings so generous, that neither of us could finish them. Gaulette proved to be a good discovery. We were glad we tried it, and certainly would recommend it.
