This place was top notch. From the Hostess to the Bartender to our Waiter. Some of the best food we have eaten at any seafood restaurant. We spend a lot of time in the Florida Keys and nothing compares to Hank's. Hank's is a must if you are visiting Charleston.
Old school huge space like one might find in New Orleans or Chicago. Absolutely professional service operation with white coated seasoned staff. Oysters were outstanding and included SC oysters that were new to us. Broiled platter #5 was excellent although fairly predictable. Seemed like large parties of locals which is always a good sign.

Can’t say enough good things about Hanks! The martinis are ice cold and made to perfection. The crab cakes and grouper are the best I’ve ever had. The service is grand. Highly recommend for a special dinner or just a night out on the town.
