Nana's Seafood & Soul was a place we targeted for our first visit to Charleston. We hopped one of the DASH lines before walking a ways to get to Nana's before they opened. We had heard that they can get busy and our desired Garlic Shrimp & Crab Legs often would sell out and since we don't exactly make regular forays to Charleston we knew we didn't want to miss out. A very small place with few places to sit but a spirited lady behind the counter serving up UberEats and some other customers. Most of the fare is fried seafood. I got the fried shrimp and some sort of crab thing with fries and it was yummy. Lots of sauce.

I'm surprised this place doesn't have more reviews as a quick search on the interweb for delicious local food in Charleston will lead you here. Having read about the 3 tables, I put on my tourist cap and arrived a bit before opening on Saturday afternoon and was the first person in, so suffice to say I got a table.
