the restaurant wasn't even open. we went all the way there for nothing. why would we be able to book AND CONFIRM a reservation when the place isn't even open? we came from out of town so we had no clue that they were remodeling. TERRIBLE!!!!! get it together.

I have a mild palate and can usually find something safe to eat. However, this is not the place for me as everything I tried was spicy-spicy-extra-hot (cheese corn dip, the “mild” tomato salsa, shrimp entree, & Mexican street corn was hottest). It tasted like everything had cayenne powder in it with exception of the guacamole. Bummer, I really wanted to like this place. If you like spice though, this is place for you!

Possibly the best Mexican I've ever had. The enchilada is spectacular. I had the Verde, my son had the rojo, both were amazing. The tacos were excellent and the Mexican street corn is truly special.

Delicious food, drinks, and experience! Our go-to spot for groups with all age ranges. Crowd pleasers are elote dip, pulpo w jicama salad, ceviche, chili rellenos verde, tacos birria, and ALL the rotating specials!

We had the Burria tacos and steak tacos as entrees. For starters, we did the queso and elote dips that were delicious. The tacos is where it leaves a little to be desired. The steak was just diced squared and had very little flavor. The Birria tacos were decent with the consume being a little bland. The beans were undercooked and the rice was that Uncle Ben’s weird processed texture. Service was great though, everyone was friendly.
This was a perfect spot for dinner! We actually had plans to go to a local Italian place that was not able to accommodate us due to a long waitlist, so my friend and I decided to just drive and see what else was around. We stumbled on Jalisco and we’re pleasantly surprised by the delicious Jalapeño Margarita, tacos, and staff. Dillon was attentive and super friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Stumbled upon this absolute gem when trying to have a girls night. Now picture this: a phenomenal jalapeño margarita pitcher, three exquisite tacos and a sublime salsa sampler to seal the deal….chefs kiss, my dudes. Dylan, our server, was excellent and friendly and I hope he succeeds in everything he dreams about. Love it and him!

My family is sick from eating here. We ordered many different tacos, most had meat that tasted old. We couldn’t finish our meals. Within 2 hours we all vomited. I paid nearly 200.00 and was possibly the grossest food I’ve ever eaten. I hope the health department pays them a visit soon.

Jalisco has perfected the margarita! The food was delicious, well prepared with real attention to detail like spices and presentation. Their tacos are authentic and excellent. It’s a great choice for casual dining or for happy hour. We go every time we’re in Charleston!
