We always go for happy hour. Raw, fried oysters always good beers on tap a great service the have a soup daily feature. You can sit at corner of bar and watch the shuckers in action Nice casual place with good price
We went here on our first night in Charleston. After having a so so drink at a roof top bar, Kaitlin made us fabulous cocktails! The food was also very good. The special of the night was tile fish and it was perfect! Great atmosphere!
Fish and chips, batter over cooked, cut into fish batter totally separated off of fish in one piece. Small to medium portion. Would not fill a hearty appetite. Restaurant serves potato chips vs fries. All was fairly bland. Another guest had fish tacos and said she would not have eaten them except she was very hungry. Another guest has the special sword fish sandwich, was not tasty. Another had the burger said it was okay. C- won’t be back.
The food is absolutely amazing and as well as the drinks. My friends and I ordered the shrimp and grits, the seafood pasta, and crab cakes. I couldn't stop smiling as I took each bite of the shrimp and grits. Wow wow so good! This place would be my favorite restaurant in Charleston SC
SO GOOD. I’d been dying for raw oysters since visiting Charleston and this is the place!! Happy hour oyster shooters & raw oysters? Yes please ?Also our waitress Elli was top notch!
Can't go wrong getting the oyster sampler! Delicious and fresh. The calamari was amazing and the red sauce it's served on top of is so delicious and perfectly seasoned with capers and green olives ? they seemed short staffed but it didn't stop them from providing good service to everyone.
A pleasant place on Bay St. This restaurant is not up to expectations food wise for Charleston, the food is edible but not memorable.
My husband and I stopped in this evening for some drinks and apps! We didn't have reservations so sat at the bar. The Rockefeller Oysters we're out of this world! Speciality drinks were also delicious. The bartenders and workers at the oyster station were super friendly. We really enjoyed the vibes. Will definitely be back again!
Had a great dinner at Pearlz, good atmosphere, my wife and I enjoyed the 80’s music. Food was spectacular and Virginia, our server went out of her way to make it special for my daughter’s birthday! Thank you Virginia!
Absolutely delicious. Everything our family ordered was delicious- lobster roll, crab cakes, seafood pasta... all were amazing and terrific atmosphere.
Amazing! Walking around we stumbled on this place. We liked the options on the menu so decided to give it a shot.Wow, what fantastic lick, everything was top notch. We started with some oysters on the half shell, fresh and delicious.I had the mixed seafood grill with halibut, swordfish and scallops over risotto. It was spectacular. My wife had the surf and turf. The steak had great flavor, the brussel sprouts were delectable.I will absolutely return when I'm back in town... Can't stop thinking about it.
Really recommend this place. Service was great and the food delicious, although portions are somewhat on the smaller size. 4 scallops with red rice, one medium sized piece if monk fish with red rice, which was really good. The key lime pie is just to die for. Real whipped cream on top and definitely homemade. Great place to dine! Would definitely come back!
Really enjoyed our time here. We got seated way faster than we were told by the hostess. Our server was knowledgeable of the menu items and did everything right. The food was good, with only one issue: my risotto and my friend's red rice were off. It looked like the types of rice used in our dishes were wrong (short grain vs long grain rice).5 stars. Keep up the good work.
The atmosphere was great- we went here for an earlier dinner and sat at the shared table down the middle so that we didn't have to wait. Sharing the table ended up being fine- The food was excellent. We did order hush puppies that came out over cooked (tasted burnt), but the manager had them remake a batch and they came out very tasty.
Had a great time here. Food and drinks were good. Sat at the bar because all the private booths were taken and didn’t want to sit at a communal table, and got great service at the bar. My only knock is that they didn’t use local seafood that is available in Charleston.
