This Whole Foods is poorly run compared to other Whole Foods locations I have visited over the years. The produce and meat counter seem to be alright but other areas of the store are lacking. The prepared food section is lacking and frequently has empty shelves. The market burger advertised on the website is never open, and this location use to have a bar with draft beer that has been closed for many years. The front end staff is very hit or miss, with many people who clearly have no desire to be there. I can walk here so the location is convenient, but most of the time drive to a competitor located a mile away just because I usually leave this store irritated due to the lackluster experience.

They close at 9 but for some reason some employee shut down blinds on me while I was shopping at 840. Won't be back

A really nice and clean and well stocked Whole Foods Market. It also smells good inside the market.

This is one of my favorite “vegan fast food sites” when I visit Charleston SC.

I do most of my shopping here online and sometimes go into the store. Every time I have had to get a pick up I was greeted so friendly by staff. When I go in everything is easy to find. Staff is always so friendly and willing to walk you to what you are looking for. I’ve even had great conversations with staff of suggestions of wine and cheeses. I always feel like the produce is fresh and the meats as well. I love this store.

Beautiful fresh produce! And everything I need and don't need. Love this store.

Matthew, the barista, makes one of the BEST americanos that I have ever had. From what I can tell, the machine doesn't work at 100%. Every other drink that requires espresso needs to be remade. Matthew actually listens and watches to make sure that the espresso cones out correctly. I've stood in line 4 people deep, and I have watched other baristas rush and pour bitter espresso into cups because they are trying to get people's orders filled. Matthew takes his time; he engages you in polite conversation, he's a professional and an efficient worker. Look out, Whole Foods. Someone may come along and take the only decent barista that you have.

This was my first visit to this particular location and Lisa in the Deli was fantastic! She took her time with me and treated me as if I were her only customer. What I purchased, I planned to eat in the car on the ride home. She offered to take it to the back and cut it into bite size pieces for me. I felt like I was at an restaurant instead of Whole Foods!Next to make my experience all the more enjoyable was my cashier named Beatrice!! She was amazing! Her line was actually closed when my husband stepped behind her last customer. She never said a word to him and she turned her light back on. That was when he realized her line was actually closed and offered to go to another line. She told him no it was fine. He must have informed her that I was coming to join him in line and that we were paying separately and she was ok with that as well. She was so sweet and pleasant to deal with and again, I was made to special and like I was the only customer.I will definitely be visiting this location again because the customer service makes the hour plus drive worth it!

Great selection better quality than most supermarkets

Terrible store. Not worth the drive. Everything is out of stock. Employees are just there to put together delivery and curb side orders. The salad and hot bar are never stocked and on the occasion it is ready it looks like it’s from last week. 10 out of 12 times I’ve had to literally go get a manager to have someone help with the deli meats while there are 2 employees sitting at the sushi bar just staring out me while drones of employees are just floating around seeing you need help. I won’t even address the lack of registers and assistance at checkout, again while countless employees just stare at you. Would rather have Doschers back at this point.
