So I've never been to this place. But a co-worker brought me the caramel cake as a thank you gift and OH MY WORD. It was to die for! I don't have a clue what else they sell, but the caramel cake is out of this world!
We've got a lot of great places for Italian fare in Kansas City -- but this is easily the best I've had in Johnson county. The food is excellent, the decor is attractive, and the location is especially convenient when I don't want to go far from home.Don't let the fact that this place is attached to a hotel fool you -- it's well worth a visit.

Met some friends today for lunch here and had the famous southern treat - tomato pie! Split the chicken over broccoli salad with a friend. The caramel cupcake was delicious- moist and decadent! The Happy Cafe is a really lovely locally owned cafe- we will be back!
