Lovely place, Wednesdays at Jakes is a must! Fair price great atmosphere and nice people. I just don’t understand why they don’t let more people outside even though there is plenty of space (and they should definitely work on the toilet situation)
The GOAT of Five Points! I’ve genuinely never had a bad experience here. The bouncers are kind and do a waistband check which keeps everyone safe. The bartenders are fast and provide great service and I’ve never had a tab that didn’t add up. I can’t speak to the food as they’ve changed some staff since I last was there. The environment is great though.

Jakes is a solid college bar.Pro: safe, spacious, and outside/insideCons: they just need a trough system in their outside men’s restroom rather than 1 single person urinal. It’s so crowded and the line backs up for a 20-30 min wait.
