Good home-cooked southern comfort food. Eat in or take away. You'll never have a long wait! BTW-fried chicken livers on Tuesday are the best! And the senior breakfast is just the right price!
Jennifer was our server. She was wonderfully attentive. Fried chicken, salmon patty, ham, fried catfish were absolutely fantastic! Also the Mac and cheese, yams, squash casserole, and cabbage were wonderful! We weren't fans of the Alabam slaw...but to each their own. We ordered the blackberry cobbler and banana pudding that were heavenly! Real sweet tea was the best we've ever had.We will be back tomorrow for a real southern breakfast.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

The food here is great early in the morning after a night out. I like it for lunch and dinner too but I'm mostly on the breakfast crew. My Daughter and I walk over to Thicket once a week before school. We've been going here for 12 years. The thing that stands out even more than the food is this place has the best service in the city.
