2022-01: Joined some friends here for lunch after years of being a customer at this location. It was the tail end of the weekday lunch rush and it wasn't too busy. We were greeted and sat immediately. Our server was attentive and pleasant. She did a great job answering some questions we had.The restaurant itself was clean, and the two story water feature in the entryway was a great aesthetic!
I ordered for take out. Service was good but order was wrong. I asked for two pollo loco rice and beans with cheese dip and two teas as well as one soft beef taco. All this came to a total of $41.70 without tip. I tipped cash. I looked when I received my food and just seen chicken over the rice thinking the beans could be under it as well. Well as far as this chain of restaurants,this one was one of the best. First time coming here. It's just another San Jose's other than that. I'd say I'd come back for the service and the ground beef Enchiladas,with a side of beans. Pretty tasty. It is what it is. I just prefer Tex-Mex.
