“Steamed bagels never tried one. It was different. Top notch ingredients on the sandwich and tons of unique and interesting options to choose from. The steaming process means they are not dry. So if you like bagels but not their typical dryness this is a great option and probably healthier too. Decent prices and good service.“
“Cutest darn place you will ever see inside. Food is fresh, wholesome and incredibly tasty. Sandwiches are super flavorful and the bread is absolutely delicious. Pasta salad was the show stopper bursting with yummy goodness Jackie, Jade, Stephen and owner Rob Reed are all local and very friendly. A SUPER place for a great meal!“
“Coming from NY, the bar is set pretty high for us in terms of burger joints. This is truly the closest thing to home we have discovered here in SC! The atmosphere is 100% on point! The staff are all very sweet and go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied, except they mixed up our plates/sides. The food, I would give a 6.5 - 7.0 out of 10, but the prices are on par with the food and given the atmosphere and homey feeling of this charming roadside spot, makes dining here an even greater value! A clean, homey, friendly place with decent food! If more attention to the condiments on the tables had been evident (most ketchups had barely any ketchup in them and the malt vinegar they brought had barely an ounce of vinegar left!), then I would have probably have rated this higher.“
“Fresh and FlavorfulSubstation II is a gem for anyone seeking fresh, delicious subs and salads. Their Super Special Salad, with its generous portion of shredded lettuce and fresh toppings, is a standout for its refreshing taste. The Chef Salad, too, is a delight, featuring crisp greens, hard boiled eggs and fresh veggies. Beyond salads, their subs are equally impressive, made with freshly sliced meats and soft bread. If you're looking for a quick, satisfying healthy meal that doesn't compromise on quality, Substation II is a fantastic choice. Highly recommended!“
“I have been going to Beezer's since it opened in the late 1970s / early 1980s, it seems like it has always been here. I moved to Columbia in 1974 and I did carry out two weeks ago. The food is as great as that first sub that sold me on their food. I still get it the same way. You get a grest deal on your sub for a great price. USC & Columbia would not ever be the same if it ever closed. They are a Columbia Landmark as far as I am concerned.Vegetarian options: Any sub could have the meat or cheese or both left off and you have enough choices to have a vegan sub.“
“This shop is on point. I place my orders online, and without fail, they're ready before I can even drive the few miles to get there. Everything has been perfect each time and everyone is exceptionally friendly and welcoming each time I visit.“
“I live in Charlotte, but whenever I am near Columbia I stop at Roly Poly for a wrap!My favorite regular menu item is the Huevos Rancheors (‘egg roly’). My all time favorite menu item is the #9 Thanksgiving roly (this year I made a special trip to get this sandwich while it was available in November). The food is always fresh, and seasoned with a unique combination of spices, sauces and dips. And somehow, despite being so large and so delicious, the rolys are only a few hundred calories each. The shop is run by a kind gentleman named Dave, who always takes time to welcome and talk with customers. I highly recommend Roly Poly and am already thinking about my next trip there!“
“Purchased a veggie delight wrap via online ordering. It was fresh, delicious, and exactly as described. Only hiccup was figuring out where to go, but I was expecting a bit of confusion there per other reviews. Heads up if you do online ordering, you need to go the “sundry” which is a little convenience store right next to the deli. Highly recommend for a fresh and delicious downtown lunch.“
“My salad was awesome I usually get the same thing every time I go. Sweet onion teriyaki sauce is a must have. I got to lay off the cookies. Go try yours how I eat mine get the ingredients from the pictureVegetarian options: You have choices to choose from.Dietary restrictions: Count those calories.Parking: Enough space for the lunch rush.Kid-friendliness: Your kids are friendly.Wheelchair accessibility: Accessible“
“Clean and the staff is very friendly. Sandwiches assembled with care. My wife and I preferred to eat in instead of grabbing and eating in our car. If you are looking for a nice place to get a quick sub, stop by at this location. Every traveler can appreciate the same taste of a Subway sandwich as the one where you might be from.“
“My go-to lunch spot during the work week. They have a crazy good selection of deli sandwiches and salads, my favorite is the Hali Cali. I love a good sandwich so I find myself here 2-3 times a week and somehow havent tired of it, its THAT good.“

“I was in the area, and decided to stop by and try their Fiesta Chicken sandwich. When I say delicious, I was quite surprised how good it was. I actually should've ordered two!I ordered at the drive thru, and the service was quick, and the gentleman working the drive thru was extremely nice.“
“16 Mar ‘24 stopped in for a sub and the place was packed. Line of people all the way to entrance. We stood in line and it moved really fast. The kids working that day were awesome and worked well together. The sub was perfectly made and so good. Highly impressed.“
“Firehouse Subs makes some great sandwiches. They have hot subs that just melt in your mouth. Highly recommended if you have never been. You even get a pickle on the side. Firehouse also sells empty 5 gallon pickle buckets for $3. The tables inside have Dalmatian print, and there is a mural on the wall of firefighters. The murals at Firehouse Subs depict something of significance related to the owner, a dog, house, person, etc.. You can also order ahead using the app. However, this particular location was slow to start my order. I ordered ahead and they hadn't started my order when I arrived. The employees were standing around talking to each other. I did not see any sandwiches being made. I told them I was there to pick up and then they started to make my order. It really defeated the purpose of ordering ahead. Overall, the food is great here. One of my favorite restaurants for subs. I'd recommend Firehouse Subs.“
“I went to this subway on my lunch break just to grab a sandwich, and a kind young lady named Rachel was so vibrant and positive. Made my day better on the spot the areas were also very clean and organized. Would recommend this subway if you’re in the area. Thank you Rachel for making my day!“
“I worked at a sub station II 20 years ago. I had not eaten at one since (for no particular reason) and today I decided to get( to go) sub hAlf of a ultimate sub, just like I used to, and it was sooooo good ,!!! Just like I remember!! The staff was very nice , the store was clean and neat, and I wanted to turn around and get another one! Thanks guys for reminding me to come back more often!“
“Some of the best food in the area. You can tell they get the bread shipped in. Tastes just like NOLA. The po beast is worth every penny. Shrimp and grits were amazing. We will be back. Might even get a photo before inhaling the food. Excellent staff and atmosphere as well.“
