This is the true defination of a dive bar. Great low light atmosphere located underground in downtown Columbia. Cool vibe, great drinks, amazing staff. Food is legit too,so if you need to feed your hunger side.
This post is bittersweet. I had the chance to try them last week before the close officially. I never realized how much I drove or walked right past them so many times. None the less I had a great experience! It is located underground which was a first for me with a restaurant. It is not big at all but the atmosphere was very nice. The red lighting was interesting and gave a very unique vibe to the place. I went with friends and they suggested I get the Whig burger so I did. Let...read full review

Reminiscing on the joy the Whig brought. The food amazing, the drinks poured well, the people amazing! When you're in Columbia, ask someone, virtually anyone, about the Whig and pick up a glass to carry some of the history with you! The set up couldn't be replicated- destined artifacts. I'll especially miss the turkey room and iPod dance parties
