“Love this little coffee shop as much as I love this island! Fabulous coffee and tea drinks (Dirty Chai Latte is my fav) and frozen lemonade my kids adore. The baked goods make the perfect addition to a morning or afternoon drink. The owners are such wonderful hosts who love their island and their customers. Leave your k-cups on the mainland, they’ve got you covered at School Grounds!”

“Breakfast is outstanding! I got the scramble and it was huge! The mushrooms were particularly tasty. My companion got the Benedict and loved it. We grabbed a sack lunch on our way out and the chicken salad sandwiches were delicious. Plus, the chefs gave us some fresh baked chips that were the perfect salty compliment to the sandwich. Really looking forward to lunch tomorrow...”

“Tried to go today (10/27/23) and they were closed. No sign. Goggle says they were open. We’ve eaten there before and it was the best food on the island. Would love to know if they are closed for the season or just today.”

This person is TOTALLY customer service-centric and seems to care only that each individual customer's questions are answered and needs are met. But D'Fuskie's caters to you and your requests!Kid-friendliness: I brought my 8 and 10-year old nieces and it was ideal for them!”

“This place far exceeded my expectations! The staff was great! The food was great! We got a bundle through Island Head tours (meals and wheels). So, I figured the food would be lousy. However, I was pleasantly surprised when the food was great!”

“4.5 ⭐️ Ate at a bar 2 person high top which was nicer than expected. Service was prompt and some of the best we had while on HHI. Had the veal piccata, started with arugula salad (forgot to snap photo), chicken parm (husband said it was ok) and finished with hot chocolate dessert. Definitely try this dessert! I would dine again and recommend.”

“This bustling little bakery is so cute with a cozy and Parisian vibe. Their desserts are all gorgeous and taste incredible. They had such a wide variety and something for everyone. Their coffee menu was also extensive. We got a Raspberry Love and Ultimate Bon Bon and they were both incredible. The employees were so sweet to us and the service was very quick. Definitely a must stop for dessert lovers. They had tons of French desserts as well as crazy croissants and breads. An incredible little place.”

“Food was ? and they were SO hospitable! First thing they said to us was Happy Anniversary when we arrived. We arrived 15 mins early for our reservation and they still seated us immediately. Served us complimentary Prosecco and their “in house made” limoncello. We love ordering our favorite Italian desserts at the end so I was a little disappointed that they didn’t have a classic cannoli, but their other options were still delicious. We will definitely be back again.”

“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Okàn restaurant in Bluffton, SC and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. I ordered the pork shank with corn bread and sweet potato mash, and every bite was a burst of flavor. My family tried the curry oxtails and they were equally impressed. Everything from the food to the service was top-notch. I highly recommend Okàn restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.”

“After spending a week in Hilton Head and frequenting many of the local restaurants, would have to say Alfred's was our favorite. So much so that we ate dinner there twice and both meals were amazing. The fish was cooked to perfection, served piping hot and with a delicious sauce. The German platter is fantastic, and don't miss the potato pancake appetizer. Alfred's delivers where too many restaurants fail - phenomenal food & service.”

“We've been wanting to try Sundae Cafe for the past few years we went to Tybee and this year we (FINALLY) did! Easily the most recommended spot on the island by locals and I have no doubt why after giving it a try. Simply one of the best meals of my life! Reservations are strongly recommended by the restaurant and that isn't something to be ignored - they were packed the night we were there with no walk in availability.”

“Top notch as always. This is one of the best dining experiences in the entire Hilton Head/Bluffton area. The menu is relatively limited in terms of number of selections, but the nightly specials are usually pretty compelling and in fact all four of our party got specials on the evening (the women got the fish, the men got the veal tomahawks.) Everything was terrific, and the service was on point as well. It's a little too spendy to be an every-week restaurant (for most of us at least), but it's always a treat and we will be back again in the not-too-distant future.”

“Met friends for brunch on the way off the island. It was all very good. Rather than go with a main and two sides, we each created our own brunch plate by combining sides. Everything was artfully conceived and created, with the flavors melding nicely. The space is rather small, so the four of us ended up at a communal table with another group of four, but with an open seat between us on both sides. That could have been a little tight with 10 at the table, but it worked out just fine. Pleasant space, though, for being small.”

“The best BBQ spot on the Island. My family's been coming to HHI for 11 years straight on family vacation and we eat here every year! Wings are awesome and so are the ribs! They are pretty busy on the weekend nights so the wait could be a little while but we'll worth it.”

“Fantastic! We love Italian food and the island has many great options, however, this has quickly risen to our favorite. The place is tiny so don't expect to walk in. 3 days before, our options for a table for two were around 500 or 745. While 745 was late, it was better than the earlier time. We were seated promptly at a great cozy table, welcomed warmly and served a carafe of cold flat water. Our server, Angie G, was great! Asked if we had been there before (had not) and were thanked for coming in. We shared a delicious kale salad (on the menu it's called: Cavolo e Pecorino. It was portioned out for us on two dishes. Lemon and a good EVOO plus some magic ingredients made for a perfect light dressing. My husband ordered the orecchiette con salciccia (with sausage and broccolini) and I had the lemon chicken over angel hair "pollo y limone." The wine list was very nice and we shared a bottle of montepulciano. We ended up with plenty of leftovers, and could have easily shared, but we each loved our choices. Great people, great meal, great place!”

“We continue to be impressed by the entire dining experience at this Hilton Head Island gem. Everyone who waited on us, from the hostess to the bartender to the server, to the sommelier was friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and pleasant. And the food, wine, and cocktails were all exquisite. It is a very small place, but it feels spacious enough due to very clever decorating. The bar is beautiful. We enjoy both the full dining experience, as well as the wine and cocktail experiences at the bar. Can't wait to visit again when we return to Hilton Head Island in May.”

“The Studio is a wonderful upscale restaurant right here on Hilton Head Island. The menu, food and service is incomparable. The owners are welcoming and engaging. A lovely art gallery shares the restaurant space in this cozy location. If you are lucky enough to witness one of the local artists creating a masterpiece while you are dining, that's an added bonus! I would highly recommend a visit to The Studio.”
